  • Are the cops there when you need them now? No, they come after the wreck, after the robbery, after the drowning, after the murder. I love cops so don’t get me wrong. They cannot be everywhere at the same time. They cannot protect you. You must protect yourselves.

  • Hopefully this is John McCain’s last term in public office. We tried to play the game his way and that didn’t work. There is no more civility among our Congressional leaders. Time for term limits.

  • God forbid there be the appearance of bias…forgive me as I try to stop laughing. The station doesn’t want to be targeted either. Were they coerced into firing him? Sounds like a good way to stop other reporters from speaking out. I’d say the President’s plan to suppress the media and the truth is working.

  • Think not that I have come to send peace on earth; I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, a daughter against her mother…he that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me…he that taketh not his cross and followeth after me is not worthy of me and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it…

…he sayeth unto them, have faith in God for verily I say unto you that whosoever shall say unto this mountain be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he sayeth shall come to pass and he shall have whatsoever he sayeth …Therefore I say unto you, what things soever you so desire when you pray, believe that ye receive them and you shall have them, and when you stand praying, forgive if ye have ought against any that your father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses

  • There is wisdom in your words. Satan tries to shake our faith and God tries to restore it. When looking at tragedy, we look at the death and devastation and wonder why. If we look at the touching stories of lives saved, rescuers who gave freely of themselves, those who were spared, etc., we can see God’s hand. When we hear of miracles that someone is alive, we see God’s hand.

  • “If God is good, why is there so much disaster, tragedy and pain in the world?” I was told the following:

You are looking at this as if today is important. The lessons learned through a lifetime (no matter how long your lifetime is) are really what matter and whom we can influence to look toward God for the answers. It is the end game that is important. If you are to believe the Bible, everything is leading to a specific end game event.

If life is full of frustration, sadness and “pain”, you would want something better. We are given moments of love and happiness to give us a glimpse of what it could be like always. God promises us a way out of this reality, Heaven. We believe we will be reunited there.

In times of tragedy, people turn to God and call out to him. Of course there are those who turn away. We must have faith in him and show our love for him and each other in order to reach that end goal.

  • The enemy of my enemy is my friend. Isreal would be wise to count the United States as their enemy.

  • We don’t make personal attacks on folks. We just disagree with Liberals. Plane and simple.

  • Good luck Mia! We love you!

  • It was supposedly important for us to know POTUS was in the situation room when they killed Osama Bin Laden but not when they killed our Ambassador and three other brave souls?
