  • First, they came for the 30 round magazines, and I didn’t speak up because I only use bold-action hunting guns. Next, they limited ammunition, and I didn’t speak up because I don’t need an “arsenal”. Next, they came for the “psychotropic” gun owners, and I didn’t speak up because I’m not crazy. Then, they came for me and my guns. And by that time, there was no one left to speak up.

Sound familiar? That’s why we cannot give any ground on this issue. New Yorkistan found that they could heavily restrict gun rights and the people of New Yorkistan didn’t complain. So now they are emboldened to do things like consfiscate guns from “crazy” people. But don’t worry, I’m sure that New Yorkistan would neeeeeeever change the definition of “crazy”. Wait, what’s that you say? Democrats think conservative gun owners (like ourselves) are crazy, bitterly clinging to guns and religion???

Sorry folks, but I sense bad times ahead for America…

  • As a successfully homeschooled person myself, thanks Glenn, for sticking up for homeschooling. In today’s day and age, it is just about the only option for parents who don’t want their kids to be indoctrinated by the government-run, liberal public schools.

  • Caption that photo!: John McCain

    March 10, 2013 at 12:59pm

    McCain: (Clears throat)
    Silence…
Paul: So… how were the shrimp cocktails at the White House dinner last night?

  • I stand with Rand.

  • Muslims hate Jews. So what else is new? Yes, there are moderate, peaceful muslims out there – but they are hardly the majority. The interviewer is shocked because he hadn’t done his research to know that the core of radical Islam is hatred for Jews and Christians.

The really sad thing is, there are so many radical muslims in Europe that its not funny when you find some that admit they hate Jews. At the rate Islam is spreading in Europe, there will soon be enough radical muslims to start a second Holocaust.

  • So this is what Obama meant when he said we were beginning a “new era of civility”.

  • So S.E’s advice to conservatives is to sell out your principles in an effort to attract new voters. Sorry, but that’s what Republican’s have done with the budget for the last 50 years, and look where that got us. I’m pretty sure S.E. has critized Republicans for trying to out spend the Democrats… now she’s critizing conservatives/Republicans for not out-gaying the Democrats?

  • I stand with Ann. Marriage, for example, is not something that everyone can do. If gays can get married, then why is it wrong for, say, an 8 year old to get married? At some point you need to define marriage in absolute terms, or you will have no definition, and consequently, confusion. Liberals and progressives have been doing this to confuse people, because if people can’t define something, it is easier to take it away from them (like, take away Capitalism and give them socialism, because the people have been confused by liberals, and cannot tell you what Capitalism is, or why socialism is wrong.)

  • If you are a Christian and are wondering what biblical basis you have for owning guns, please read Luke 22:36, King James Version. That verse alone clearly states the Jesus Christ not only approves but recommends having a weapon for self-defense.

Luke 22:36 KJV: “Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.”

  • Netherlands: Hey, Let’s Bring Our Gold Home

    January 18, 2013 at 10:19am

If the world doesn’t trust us to keep their gold safe, how can they trust us to repay the debt that we owe them? Maybe bringing the gold home is just the tip of the iceberg…
