1Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God. 2So anyone who rebels against authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and they will be punished. 3For the authorities do not strike fear in people who are doing right, but in those who are doing wrong. Would you like to live without fear of the authorities? Do what is right, and they will honor you. 4The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong. 5So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience.

It’s not about blind obedience, but rather choosing the right venue to resist. The side of the road, one on one with a cop, is not the right place to argue the constitution.
See, you've managed to effortlessly confuse anything other than complete submission and deference to some imbecile with a badge and "resisting". You're a good little serf.

Super, nothing a white says in criticism of someone of another race is acceptable. “Racism” is a word whose meaning is in constant flux to satisfy the ends of the minority who is invoking it. It cannot be defined by a white person, and therefore cannot be avoided. Personally, when I hear the word, it is like the boy who cried “wolf”, and I automatically discount anything the speaker says afterward.

“You can’t make this stuff up about Glenn Beck.” Apparently, they can… and did.

Our government has ave a moral obligation to take of those in needy.
Show me that in the Constitution.
This is the primary problem with the statist point of view; no personal responsibility. Push everything off on the government so I don’t have to get off my lazy ass and do anything.
Our government does not have the authority to take care of the needy by stealing money and property from other citizens. Charity is a personal obligation and forcing people into charity is not within government's mandate. The federal government is now in the business of theft! It is stealing land, money, and businesses from the citizenry. It has gone too far. Government theft must be stopped.
you are morally corrupt.

Why on earth would a soldier ever not have at least a side arm? That should be considered part of a complete uniform.
Well I didn't like it when he threatened President Obama a couple years ago, but the draft dodger thing pretty much trumps it all. Ted is for Ted, he only pretends to be a patriot, he is washed up has-been looking to remain relevent, all he has is anger!
Well alot of us are angry and Ted has a way of expressing what a lot of us feel... that's why I like him.
Don’t get too excited yet. After the FDA takes 20 years for trials and about a billion dollars in taxes and fees, our benevolent government may find it in their generous hearts to allow us peons to have access to it.

Only if he preceded the comment with “Allahu Akbar”

Yeah, that confused me, too. It’s funny how they have no problem calling this guy a terrorist, but Muslims attacking a US Embassy and killing American citizens? No, no, they’re not terrorists…
January 22, 2014 at 11:29am
LOL that’s funny right there, I don’t care who you are!

This is the same excuse illegals give for entering our country the wrong way. This poor couple just wanted a better life, why should we enforce the law on them? I’m sure they’re fine, upstanding people…

Does this mean she’s getting the Jesus tattoo removed?
It sounds as if she is defining herself as borderline Agnostic without any particular doctrinal guidelines. I bet even Priests have changes of faith and dedication throughout their lives. She'll likely drift back at some point.
Cavallo: I'm not seeing Agnostic, agnostics are unsure that there is a G-d, while her relationship with G-d is quite solid based on the story above. What I took away from the story is that her faith is strong in G-d, just not necessarily in any particular dogma or organized religion.
Turn on her for telling the truth?
Which truth might that be "katy perry?"
So she thinks God is an old man sitting on a throne, not only is she a no-talent, but ignorant as well
Don't know who this gal is from Adam, but she's making one of the biggest mistakes of her life if she stick with this belief.
Money does seem to make some turn away from belief in our Savior.
What this means is she is going to burn in the Lake of fire for all eternity. That's what it means
She will see the rapture come and go with her own eyes http://youtu.be/CBsYDhNxFlU
She is full of herself... She once complained that her knockers were to big and she is barely a D cup.
So sad for you that you continue to believe in that fairy tale. You'll go to your grave disappointed I'm sure.
Oohh, please, people don't get scared because you think you're telling the truth.
Katy, your songs all sound the same. The men you pick are losers rife with STDs. No wonder you don't believe in anything useful.
The rest of us knew you by your fruit. The hpv clusters!
Cavallo: "She’ll likely drift back at some point."
When the profit machine tells her to sing about God because no one on the left are making a profit through her anymore, she'll sing.
Till then, I'm expecting within the next 3 months for her to pull a stunt to "prove" her anti-Christianity as to "draw in" the suckers.
Of course the boobs exposure on Sesame Street wasn't enough... but it was the start... Hopefully she'll quickly learn that the Mileys and that guy Googoo will prove enough that whats HOT also burns out fast.
Or maybe she'll pull a Jackson and get accused of molesting children THREE TIMES WITH NO CONVICTION and then become the "Queen the pop."
@Mike, you're right. Probably several steps away from the borderline than I suggested.
@JewishAvenger, Dude. Miley is gross. She reminds me of that South Park episode where they get Brittany Spears to commit suicide so they have a good corn crop that year.
Yes, otherwise she will be removed from stardom and someone else will be put in her place.
Katy Perry will begin 2014 beyond confuzzled. Sad.
I hope she finds the path again.
Her ambivalence is the definition of lukewarm. :(
good eye NRA. I can see it on the inside of her left wrist. Another obama kiss azzz
@SimpleTruths Actually TheRaptureCometh will not be caring to much if we are just "dust". It will be all the non-believers who will be disappointed if Jesus is real. Christians have nothing to lose. Non-Christians have everything to lose. If we (Christians) are wrong, then we will just be dust. If you are wrong, you will be in hell for eternity. You see what I mean by not having anything to lose?
When you have money it's easy to not be a Christian, even if you do claim to believe a God. When you have everything you want, why believe in the Christian God? What are you going to pray for, world peace? Yeah right, sure you will.
Christ said, "I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven." Why is that? When you are free of money problems and have more than you could ever spend, when you can go to best doctors when you get sick, when you have no insecurity, you lose the ability to empathize with your fellow human being. The day to day struggles that each of us face, with job security, with getting adequate treatment for our children when they get sick, with keeping a roof over our heads and feeding our family is utterly lost on the rich like Katy Perry. The unemployed don't get her sympathy, because she believe that she worked hard to get where she is, so she believes that anyone should be able to get a good paying job if the only worked hard. If you haven't found a job for a year, hey, release a new CD!, that's how she thinks.
Rich people like Katy Perry don't need Christ or religion, because they don't want for anything. They don't care about the poor, the jobless, the sick who don't have insurance and can't afford medical care for themselves or their children. It's hard for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven because they have no empathy with the problems and struggles of the desperately poor.
“I’m not Buddhist, I’m not Hindu, I’m not Christian, but I still feel like I have a deep connection with God,” she said. “I pray all the time — for self-control, for humility
to be fair, she's only practicing and preparing what to say when militant islamists start rounding up infidels to be tortured or beheaded. But after what we've learned in a Kenyan mall earlier this year, even that thinking likely won't persuade her captors unless she knows some quotes from the quran
@Matt.W never understood how a - instead of a o makes a difference to God?
"So she thinks God is an old man sitting on a throne, not only is she a no-talent, but ignorant as well" Read it again; she explicitly rejected that ____BS.
"she doesn’t believe in heaven, hell or “an old man sitting on a throne.”
Perry did tell the outlet, though, that she believes in a higher power — a paradigm that holds her accountable."
I tend to side with Cavallo. She will probably come back someday.
Eckhart Tolle is one of Oprah's gurus......'nough said.

That was my guess - D cup.
"Money does seem to make some turn away from belief in our Savior." Age and lack of 'fear' in the jesus/god myth often help people turn away too. Many don't believe in your 'savior' and suffer absolutely no consequences for that lack of belief. Besides, what on Earth has he/it 'saved' us from? Not a single, solitary thing.
"What this means is she is going to burn in the Lake of fire for all eternity. That’s what it means
She will see the rapture come and go with her own eyes"
Yeah, right. I'd say this post talks of two of the most unlikely things in our Universe. "Lake of fire"? No. We die, we are buried, burned, fed to vultures, whatever, but there's no lake of fire for all eternity just as there's no heaven for all eternity.
The supposed 'rapture' is an even bigger joke and even far less likely than your 'lake of fire' garbage.
Gullible believers, useless creatures all.
No, she need not remove the Jesus tattoo. Like all lefty loons everything is relative. Jesus is whoever or whatever you want him, her or it to be. You see she hasn't lost her faith. she just now believes in a God that says that anything you do or say is cool, so long as you're not racist, sexist or homophobic because those are mean things to be.

There should be a thought bubble above Putin’s head in the pic saying “Should I tell him what he just stepped in? Nah…”
December 17, 2013 at 8:30am
She looks like she has that hair pulled back a little too tight… it’s cutting off the blood flow to her brain.
