It’s the mothers stupidty that should be questioned…not the rules of the school. I’m sure the girl didn’t shave it herself and the mother already said she knew the rules in regards to the dress code. Instead of exhibiting some common sense and calling the powers that be at school and asking/informing them that her daughter wanted to do this….she went ahead with it and then wanted to complain about the consequences. A brave little girls selfless act was corrupted by a mother with an axe to grind.

Good for this guy. He believes in his product and stands by it. Remember….
The customer is always right……..was a great expression until the customer found out about it!

And to be honest….what destroys the wealth of the Middle Class is a combination of divorce, single parent families and an idea that it’s not cool to be middle class anymore. A “keeping up with the Joneses” mentality combined with a disposible consumer culture continually blasts the American public with the idea that materialism and excessive material culture is more important than living within ones means.
You're probably one these people that think "Social Security" is a good thing. "The Greatest Generation" = the greatest thieves in history! Truthfully there is no one that posts on this site, myself included. That has lived within a true free market economy. Unless you also participate in the black market. A true free market would benefit the lower class much better than what we have now. So yes. Liberals are to blame for most of the income disparity. However a lot of conservatives share some of the blame. Because some of them went along with the liberals for personal gain. Crony-capitalism at its finest!
I've met some of those 'keeping up with others' people. They will spend and spend and spend all to try and have what others have even when they don't have the money to afford it. I really have a hard time understanding someone who buys something just to be like someone else, it seems really stupid to me.

If you were born post WWII, you’ve lived and (presumably) prospered as a direct result of redistribution by the Federal Government. Everything from FDR and Truman’s G.I.Bill to the Interstate Project was a form of Federal redistribution. And while I”m no big fan of LBJ’s War on Poverty…..one can argue that it actually worked…not only by the numbers……but by simply by looking at the standard of living the “impoverished” in this country have in relation to previous generations.
January 22, 2014 at 8:30pm
Yet redistributionism has created a period of prosperity for more people and one society (U.S.A.) than ever before in the history of mankind. We can argue that it’s gone too far, or that it should be indirect instead of just handing people money…..but you’d have to be a fool to think that “Middle Class” would be around and prospering if it weren’t for some means of redistribution.
No as I pointed out above where you made this pitch for redistribution, it was prosperity combined with full employment and new consumer products that created the prosperity, not government redidtribution.
It's quite astonishing how so many people can talk about their love of Jesus and country out of one side of the mouth, while simultaneously bemoaning any of their fellow citizens that need help. It's a level of cognitive dissonance that I don't think has ever existed in humanity before (if it has, I can't find any examples).
@ripeforparody. You're very confused so I'll help you out because I'm a nice guy.
It isn't governments job to be a charity that's what charities are for. It's immoral and unconstitutional to use the force of government to take money from one to give to another simply for existing. The AmeriKan government beginning with FDR has created the welfare state and perpetuated it with endless government spending on unconstitutional and immoral government programs. Our one party system has ensured generational poverty through these heinous programs and keeping people comfortable in their poverty has been the hallmark of the AmeriKan government for many years.
NumberOneSon, I believe we are disagreeing on what we consider redistribution. I really only consider it redistribution if we're talking taking money from people because they 'have to much' and just giving it to others to 'make it fair', many socialists will give this as their reasons for jacking up taxes. I put safety nets and such in a completely different category. I really think people talking about using taxes to make things 'fair' are making an assault on the freedom of the people
@ RipeForParody do you have any concept of the massive difference between a safety net and redistribution?
Redistribution is deliberately going in and taking from people simply because you 'think' they have to much and then giving it to those who you believe need more on the assumption that everyone should have the same stuff out of a sense of fairness.
A safety net is designed to aid those who need help, but what the safety net doesn't do is drag everyone who is higher up down in order to give more to those who need help.
@thainin 'Redistribution of wealth'and 'safety net' aren't found in the constitution.
I've read it several times and there's no mention of either, those are terms used by progressives to try and convince us there's some right to charity from taxpayers.
I think charities should stay in the charity business and government should stay in the tiny box created by the constitution to keep it from becoming tyrannical.
Government destroys wealth, not create it. When it decides who the winners and losers will be, and cows to the rabid environmentalists who lobby for an ever encroaching regulations on business, it drives the very companies who were creating descent paying manufacturing and engineering jobs to 3rd world countries. The end game is puts the very people the government "claims" they want to protect in a position of servitude.
The only way I want someone to redistribute the wealth to me is through a job.
Jesus talked about us, not government, personally caring for the orphans and the widows. Those who were in need through no fault of their own. He didn't call on government to take its citizens' money and use to buy Obama phones and votes. Even St. Paul said if you don't work don't eat.
I am constantly seeing twisted liberal takes on the Bible - seriously guys, reading it before you throw out your interpretations is a must.
January 22, 2014 at 8:22pm
This Leary guy is a dope.. Doesn’t he realize that the greatest period of wealth and propserity by the most people in human history has taken place in post WWII America….a time when there was a “sharing of wealth” and goverment redistribution? That clown is nothing but a shill to those 85 rich people.
What redistribution are you talking about?
First of the period of greatest growth was probably during the Industrial Revolution
Second the growth right after WW2 was because so many people from doing so much manufacturing for the war effort, we're then ready and able to turn all that production to consumer goods which people could afford since the Depression was over, by that point.
Yeah that 'war on poverty' was a big hit huh, sixteen trillion dollars later and we have the same amount of poor people in AmeriKa. All government programs are BS and a waste of taxpayers money. 'Sharing of wealth' and ' government' redistribution' ie socialism has been tried before and it always fails.
Government has no money and can't create wealth it can only destroy wealth. We are a debtor nation, police/welfare state infected with crony capitalism that's rotting us from within.
We're on the fast track to insolvency because the AmeriKan government will never return to fiscal sanity.
leveling the playing field was poison to the them.
The GI BIll a real horror

It is the flag of sedition against this great country of ours and it is a shame that there are still a few dullards in this country that chose to make it their standard.

I would have also had much more respect for this theatre if they had decided this BEFORE they started getting a high volume of people coming to see the film. Doing this after the fact isn’t patriotic or noble….it’s business.
business responding quickly to accomodate customers in a situation they had no idea was coming. You try way to hard to make business- the thing that gives people paychecks- the bad guy.
January 11, 2014 at 4:24pm
That’s kind of BS for all those people wanting to come and see the movies that were cancelled. I hope that the theatre did the right thing and gave them free passes for the inconvience of getting to that theatre only to find that the theatre willingly cancelled their movies; nevermind those that might have already bought their tickets online.
I would have also had much more respect for this theatre if they had decided this BEFORE they started getting a high volume of people coming to see the film. Doing this after the fact isn't patriotic or noble....it's business.
Trust me, they did those people a favor. Nothing of value would be lost if those movies disappeared from existence entirely.

Yep…….I see the FOX NEWS, “War on Christmas” and “War on Christianity” jabronis are out in full force this year!. It’s a shame for that child that dopes like Moron Kelly influence even LESSER minded (if that’s possible) individuals to act out on behalf of the rabid and clueless Far Rights agenda that Christmas is being attacked.
♫ DING DING ♫
The bell ringing means that one here has graced us with their deep, well thought out opinions. You win today’s prize!
CONGRATULATIONS to today’s Weiner’s Whiny Winner prize pack.
♫ We are the world, we are the children… ♫
Tis true that "War on Christmas" is a two-month distraction from the most important issues in our country. So far as i can tell, nobody is stopping people from buying christmas gifts, putting lights on their house, having service at their church, and gaining 5 pounds every Christmas season.
War is a racket and the "War on Christmas" is as well. The impending deal republicans are making with democrats to wipe out some measly budget cuts that took 2 years to achieve is 1000 times more important than any "war on christmas" story you can scrounge up. But tell me how much time Glenn Beck has spent talking about christmas versus the budget deal....The ratio is 100:1. Sad.
I’m sure the rabid Blaze and Beck followers are lamenting that this guy didn’t shoot these guys in the back as they ran away….but kudos to this driver for being a responsible gun owner. Well done, Sir. The criminals were caught, you are safe and these men who did this live….and hopefully learn a valuable lesson.
They won't. This isn't the last time you'll hear their names in a crime-related story. I just hope their next victim fares as well as this one.
I tend to have a slightly higher opinion of most people who frequent these stories. Those who comment on them on the other hand... It's easy to by publicly stupid when your name isn't attached.
"these men who did this live….and hopefully learn a valuable lesson." Yes, that's exactly how it works. They learn a valuable lesson and go on to lead productive lives and contribute greatly to society. (Face palm)
Of course, if they fail to learn a valuable lesson and find another victim, who is unarmed, that innocent person will be the one to pay the price. Just a thought.
Actually we are lamenting the the injustice system will almost certainly give these thugs such a gentle slap on the wrists that they will soon be able to try again, with possibly deadly results.
They will learn valuable lessons, alright. Don't you know that criminals polish their skills in prison? They will get valuable lessons on the inside about how to further contribute to this nation's crime problem.
What lesson clown. Next time do the delivery man in.
I think the only lesson they'll probably learn is to bring a real gun next time.
I hope and pray these paragons of virtue visit you at home and you can give them anything they demand at gun or knife point you useless eater.
They won't learn anything except to have a real gun or stab the victim first. They are about as close a thing to a feral human that exists. Hope they show up on your doorstep. Perhaps you won't be so critical of HVLT for violent criminals.
What are you blathering about dingy?
We are the NRA, not obama voters. We exercise restraint when holding democrat criminals at bay. How dare you insinuate that we want to kill people.
We want to be left alone with the fruits of our labor. Enough money has already been taken from us to give to these animals for their (multiple) votes.
I would suggest you think about what you say.
Hopefully they learned not to eat the wings out in the open on the street corner they just stole from the guy they just held up. I would have had zero problem pulling a gun and firing. The longer you wait, the longer it can go south, and fast.
I lamenting the fact that he didn't shoot them in the face!
The driver is my brother, NumberOneSon, and he's a very loving and gentle-natured guy who would have felt terrible if he'd been compelled to use deadly force. Like he said in the interview, he has a son who is about the same age as the actors. Nevertheless, my family and I are very proud of him for standing his ground and refusing to become a victim!

This guy is a jabroni as pretty much the entirity of human society has been based on working smarter not harder. Where would we be if clowns like this contiuned with the status quo instead of using our minds to find easier and more efficient ways of doing things….nevermind the idea that entire industries and technologies have sprung up simply because human society working smarter instead of harder has given us the ability to have the time to puruse advances in technology.
Yes advances in tech is important but so are roads, buildings, houses, and ect. Those are the job markets who are having trouble finding people who can do those type of jobs. Having good computers mean nothing if you have no where to put them that doesn't break down.
September 23, 2013 at 4:19pm
We should all thank God everyday that this chick didn’t manage to get within a heartbeat of the POTUS Office. If nothing else, the Obama Presidency will be viewed in the eyes of historians as a rousing success. Why can’t this woman just go back to sleeping with basketball players and leave us alone?

Stay Classy, Blaze Conservatives.
Godspeed, Senator Lautenberg…you fought for this country’s ideals for most of your life; first as a soldier, then as a Democratic politician. You deserve better than what the Neo-Cons on this thread are saying about you.

Why are Conservatives/Hard Line Republicans afraid of discussion?….All the 16 Patriots did was facilitate the means to discussion…something that ALL but the most jaded people on the Hard Left and Right want….namely because the lack of discussion and floating ideas and opinions off one another is the main way to break free from the Hard Left/Right.
Judging by all the closed minded responses…I can see that THEBLAZE Forums are nothing more than a breeding pit for the silencing of ideas and discussion.
April 11, 2013 at 12:35pm
Thank God for common sense. Republicans and Conservatives should strive to A) keep as many of these 16 Patriots in office as possible and B) look to vote in more politicans who are not afraid of conversing and debating with their fellow politicans on a serious issue. Why are the Pauls and Cruz’s of Congress afraid to dicuss the issue?
April 11, 2013 at 12:20pm
Nice to see that the Republican Party still has A FEW people with common sense in it. Kudos to those 16 Patriots in the Republican Party who broke ranks with the shrill, out of touch, whiny hardline Right that has corrupted the Republican Party in order to make possible meaningful conversation about POTENTIAL gun reform. It’s a great day for Democracy in this country!
NUMBNUT: You and your sick ilk have totally lost the narrative. By the way genius, we live in a Representative Republic and not a Democracy. There's always night school. Good luck!
At the cost of what? Everyone becoming brain dead like you?
YOU are a MORON.. NONE OF THIS WILL PREVENT NEWTOWN.
Are you stupid or just a kool aid drinking dummy. These clowns did nothing heroic but violated their oath of office to defend the Constitution. Gun control is about CONTROL period. And useful idiots like you will be the first to be stood against the wall when the Kenyan in chief goons at DHS start thinning the herd.
It's out of touch to delay something that hasn't even been read yet? Wow.

the only gun reform needed is to repeal the nation gun control act and all gun gun control laws.
We can hope that voters whose "Republican" senators voted with the majority Democrats on this issue will remember their names in 2014 and 2016 and replace them with someone with backbone and ethics.
I would guess Number1son is a paid anti gunner form Bloomberg or one of Obummas paid Internet
trolls. Remember the left is targeting all forms of media ! Forums are a big target for gathering info and spreading misinformation.
You'd be wrong.
You are so right number -one
Sixteen wimpy rinos voted for something they have not read, that is democracy. Thank god we live in a republic

You Brainiacs who extoll the virtures of FED EX and UPS do realize that they rely heavily on the USPS to deliver thier product and that in many places; particularly rural areas…the USPS delivers their packages?….Eliminating the USPS would drive up the price of package delivery to “Heartland” Americans a fairly significant amount.
The free market could adjust for this. Probably in ways neither of us can think of right this minute.
99.9 % of people have no clue how prices would jump if the USPS is gone...

Lotta Blaze readers must not watch much or understand football.
Tebow, while having a “Rocky”, “Rudy”, “Radio” kind of tenacity seen in underdog players…just doesn’t have the skill set to make it as a prototypical NFL QB. While he might be able to run like a Kapernick/Wilson/Griffith, he doesn’t throw nearly the ball that these QBs throw.
