Predatory lending describes unfair, deceptive, or fraudulent practices of some lenders during the loan origination process. While there are no legal definitions in the United States for predatory lending, an audit report on predatory lending from the office of inspector general of the FDIC broadly defines predatory lending as “imposing unfair and abusive loan terms on borrowers.”Though there are laws against many of the specific practices commonly identified as predatory, various federal agencies use the term as a catch-all term for many specific illegal activities in the loan industry. Predatory lending should not be confused with predatory mortgage servicing which is used to describe the unfair, deceptive, or fraudulent practices of lenders and servicing agents during the loan or mortgage servicing process, post loan origination.
You want to buy a house, they give you a sweetheart loan with a low APR. Next thing you know your APR has exploded.
Maybe you can talk to this man’s widow about predatory lending.
I hope you’re paid off. When times get tough for the banksters, it will be all out war against the people. When banks aren’t regulated, they will rob you blind.

He’s right. It’s a free country. These banksters only speak in dollars. They panic anyimte bank flight begins to rend on the net. These banks did it to themselves with predatory lending practices.
Folks, these aren’t the banks that we are used to. They aren’t the good neighbors. I had to laugh when he mentioned small banks. Most small banks have been eaten up by the big banks. My local bank got bought out by Wells Fargo. It was a community bank for 150 years, then Wells Fargo took over. Most of the old customers left for the local credit union.
The guy is a defender of crony capitalism. Lenin once said, “The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we will hang them.” Think about that for a minute.
We are slaves to the central banks. We believe that if they fail, America will fail. We are better than that.
What happened to the money Jamie? Where did your bail out go? Why are you still losing billions?
The MSM including Fox News need to start asking tough questions instead of swooning over this waste of flesh.

Seriously? Nobody realizes that Marco Rubio is VP? He’s been vetted by the Bilderbergs. Laugh now if you want, but it’s the truth. Romney will win election 2012 since, again he was vetted by Bilderberg. You might cheer the fact that he is set to win, but it’s not going to be pretty when the bankers run the country.
Good call. There's no doubt that the Bilderbergs always invite the next President or his veep to speak at their get together prior to the election. It's a sure bet that their "chosen one" inevitably wins.

Wow….reading some of these comments on here shows me how willing you all are for a police state. Nowhere did I see the kid try to break away from the cop. I saw him jump a little. Just wait until it’s your precious little child getting shot by an out of control cop for no good reason. I bet you won’t be kissing up to him.
I saw a comment on here about the kid in the orange shirt should have been arrested. It’s within your legal right to film police in public spaces.
The government unfortunately is bought and paid for by the banks. It’s sad. We worry about the stock market and let that pollute our faith in the economy. If we just stopped paying attention and lived our lives, the economy would be able to come back. Unfortunately we worry too musch about what Bernanke has to say and it shakes our faith.
Try reading this. It’s pretty good and it makes sense. It also dispels the myth that if banks fail, then America does too. http://revolutioninmedia.com/2012/07/17/urgent-september-3rd-day-of-action/
Not only corruption, but censorship from this government. What a disgrace!

Racism has always been alive and well in America. Whether it’s people against Mexicans, “suspicious” blacks, people who look like they are from Middle East, it exists. If Americans could just get passed things like skin color or religious beliefs, then the people might ACTUALLY be able to influence change.
The biggest lie Americans are fed is the idea of political parties. Neither party has a monopoly on the truth, both constantly lie to get their way. A Republican gave us the Patriot Act and a Democrat has been abusing executive orders to pass his agenda. The sad fact is that far too many people just follow party lines and refuse to think for themselves. Even when folks “do their own research” they tend to stick with websites and sources that support their beliefs.
Thank God for the alternative press! http://revolutioninmedia.com/
Unfortunately, there is no way in the status quo to surmount the collective action problem and punish the two parties for their failures. Because only one of the two has any realistic chance of winning, they can both be atrociously incompetent and still get elected. And given that they are unlikely to give up that advantage themselves, its difficult to see how changes COULD go through the "normal" process of "the system" to provide the electoral reform NECESSARY to make a multiparty (by which I mean "more than two") POSSIBLE, when these reforms would have to pass the very body (the legislature) held by the very people who stand to lose the most by its passage. The only options left available for those who desire a polity that is legitimate and represents the public interest are calling a constitutional convention, revolutionary overthrow of the current regime, or fragmentation of the union.
This man sinks lower and lower!
Why doesn’t the media talk about this wasteful spending?

Just what our economy needs….another war!
Well, atleast defense contractors will be rolling in the dough.
Why won’t the GOP talk about tangible job creation? Not a broad idea, but how to fix things? Nope. Deflect and start a war.
The populous sleeps.

I wish there was like button for your comment. The GOP supports the TSA and all of the other legislation designed to take away our freedoms. Ron Paul, while I may not agree with all of his views, is the only one that wants to do away with all of these things.
I remember reading comments early on from people saying that the media won’t choose their candidate for them. Looks like they let the media do just that. Romney is just part of the establishment that cares more about lobbyists and corporate cronyism over the rights of citizens.

Funny how the Blaze stays away from police brutality.
I came across this and it left me a bit shaken. Towards the end of the article is video of police brutality during the NATO summit.
It scares me, because it’s only a matter of time before Obama uses these tactics at Tea Party rallies. Don’t believe it? These kids cursed at the cops, but they got beat and pushed back with no where to go. The article was written by someone who was actually stuck in the crowd.
Sorry I have to side w/ the police in reference to what you posted, it was OBVIOUS painfully obvious the police were holding a security line and the idiots protesters thought they could rush that line and cross it, well they found out the hard way that they couldnt. Your videos dont show police running after "hunting down" drum circle participants. Come back to reality, there is such a thing as consequences, cause and effect, charge or encroach on a police held security line = nightstick beating
Actually, the blaze readership is split on wether the police are good guys or bad guys. There are more and more cases of the police going way beyond reasonable limits of force, but these protest dipsticks go way beyond what is reasonable free speech. The 1st amendment does not give you the right to block or interfere with the daily business of communities. It doesn't give them the right to throw things at the police or break windows and damage property. They should protest at government buildings, schedule meetings with their elected officials. But they do not want to effect real change, they want to cause trouble and disrupt the peace.
Back to the borders though, if the government wanted them shut down, they would be. The truth is that the government gains money whenever they catch drug dealers. What do you think acutally happens to the drugs they confiscate?

Better watch it now. If Ms. Cupp sues Larry Flynt and wins, it could be bad for everybody. Glenn could be sued by the Obama administration for some of his fantasy skits. Rush could be sued by anybody that he puts down. The Blaze could get shut down if they are found to have posted a false story.
All it takes is one case and then this PC crap kills freedom of speech. Plain and simple? I don;t like Hustler, I don’t read it. Maybe we do need a nanny state to take care of us. People defend Rush, yet some see him as a drug addict who thinks he’s god. People defend Glenn, while others view him as a paranoid schizophrenic.
Larry Flynt is a pig, but attacking him will only take away first amendment rights. What defines slander in the terms of law? Do we really want the government to give us a definition that stops people from reporting the truth against government corruption?
We need to pick our battles carefully instead of just having a knee jerk reaction. They could potentially affect us all.

During WWII the US released propaganda films for US citizens as well as those abroad. Fox News ran a terror alert color coded graphic for much of the Bush administration, post 9/11. It was always raised in time for an election. Propaganda isn’t just a liberal thing, conservatives know how to use it as well.
We can’t tolerate this type of stuff ever. It’s not okay for one party to use it and then condemn another for doing the same thing.
Even those old atomic bomb drill videos were propaganda designed to strike fear in those who viewed it(namely children). The idea of propaganda is gain control over citizens and make the government look good. Plain and simple.

Better be careful. If the NDAA goes through, they can lock up American citizens without cause. There are proposed laws meant to make it a felony to protest anywhere near a figure under Secret Service protection. Wake up! They are stripping away our freedoms.
They play the Occupy crowd so that conservatives stay distracted.
Their next target will be Tea Party rallies. Just wait until they grab some one who has a permit to carry concealed. I guarantee that they will use it to make conservatives and the Tea Party look like terrorists.
You can’t cheer when Occupy has their 1st Amendment rights stripped away, and then cry when they start targeting conservatives.
I don’t care what you believe, you have a right to assemble and a right to free speech. You could be trying to convince people that lord Zog was coming to conquer the earth….looney tunes….yes….illegal? No.
Varying points of view is what makes America great. I like the fact that we don’t all have to believe the same thing, but we can go out and spread our message.
Better be careful, he might get Breitbarted. Remember, this administration is dangerous.

How about fixing all of the broken spending in DC? The Pentagon pays through the nose to contractors charging premium for nuts and bolts. They spend on projects that will be never finished and projects that will never work. They try to distort reality by saying that if they get cut, then our nation is at risk.
Time to throw out all of these crooks and get real Constitutionalists in DC not those that worship the corporations or big banks.
