Words typical of the progressive left. Others ideas are described as hate filled or with some other diminutive. Dwelling on the past and what could be if only everyone else would concede to their point of view while dismissing the facts of the here and now present. Methinks a 12 step program might help.

This report reminded me of C Everett Koop’s recollection of a post surgical discussion at the Childrens’ Hospital of Philadelphia (aka CHOP) in 1976. ” . . . after spending an entire Saturday with his pediatric surgery fellows operating on three patients with severe congenital defects, Koop sat in the cafeteria and remarked that together they had given over two hundred years of life to three individuals who together barely weighed ten pounds. When one of the surgical fellows replied that next door at the university hospital (The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania aka HUP) abortions were being performed on (perfectly) healthy babies, Koop was stirred to write The Right to Live, The Right to Die, setting down his concerns about abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia.” Methinks the spirit of C Everett Koop lives on at Texas Children’s Hospital!
Grew up and lived in Philly when this surgery was performed. C. Evertt Koop was a GREAT MAN and an excellent surgeon. He used all he had and asked God for just a little bit more when He needed it. A true "believer" and a true surgeon following as much as he was allowed in the footsteps of the Great Physician.
Blessing to the mother of this child, to her surgeons and to she herself! May she know to possess the type of LOVE that brought her to this point and pass it on to others. . .
Thank you Lord.
