Some of you are correct. She is acting within bounds established by our own laws, although tasteless and disgusting, she has a constitutionally protected right to act in this manner. B U T, if you read the story it leads you to believe that she was on a trip for the facility and paid for by the facility, as such she was AT WORK representing her employer.. BIG BIG difference. Her employer therefore has every right to FIRE HER. In the words of Bugs Bunny what a Maroon !

How does spinning the truth into a “softer” form help anyone? Some thiings in scripture ARE difficult to accept and yes it would be nice to have a “backdoor” into Heaven but the Bible is the Bible. Trying to make the difficult more acceptable is a disservice. I am a single dad, 3 kids, and a business professional with a degree. I have been out of work for 16 months and it’s the worst thing I have ever had to endure. But I DO accept this IS God’s plan. I don’t understand it or like it, but I accept it. I’m also daily thankful for his love and grace and I know in my heart he will see me through this. He is my rock when I am weak and scared to death, which right now, is every dang day.

She’s a tramp who can only make a living by taking her clothes off. Not exactly at the top of the intellectual food chain.

Black Panther radio? Is that an FCC licensed station or an XM thing? If that is a station with an FCC license then they are required by law to maintain a public service file that any person can demand to see at any time and must be kept up to date, the FCC is a bit picky on this particular issue.. No exceptions. If they are in fact an FCC licensed station, then that license comes up for renewal every couple of years and can be challenged by ANY citizen. They must prove they are operating in the public interest, An interesting thought.

This is about winining. Secretary Rice is an exceptional choice that will put the Obama ticket into a meltdown. Let’s see, an African – American WOMAN who is without question brilliant and knows more about government than our current President ever will, yeah that would work! She won’t eat Biden for lunch in a debate, she’ll shred the current President like the poser he is. Ms. Rice is not rumored to be the smartest person in the room, she usually is ! Come on Mit, make the call, not only do you ensure a win, in 8 years you give us a Woman president who happens to be black. Now that is a legacy.

Prove it. Show us the numbers. Please, show me the direct connection between motorsports sponsorships and recruitment numbers. Not your oppinion, I want the numbers based on dollars spent v. number of new recruits generated who confirm that they joined our military soely due to seeing the name of a service branch on a car. You want to make a statement like that, back it up with verified research. Now break it down for cost per recruit against dollar spent on sponsorship. Do you have any firm idea of how much $80,000,000 really is? Just a quick side bar, for a business to invest that, it has to expect a two or three times return on the expenditure to justify the cost. And , oh yeah, there are very few businesses that can even envision an $80,000,000 advertising budget let alone a budget that would allow that kind of spending on just sponsorship. The fact this is even a debate shows how far out whack things are.

It does not matter what the sport is, our government can not allocate $80,000,000 for sponsorships. It’s absurd. There is no possible way that the military sees an eighty million dollar return on that spending. But lets read between the lines, they didn’t say they were cutting their budget, only pulling out of NASCAR, they are feeling the public presure and lowering the profile a little. I love our military and NASCAR but it pisses me off when I see public money being spent to support a sport. Oh, and let’s not forget that sport is still run by a single family, I’m sure the France family is unhappy but their lobbyists will take care of that.

Ummm, I hate to tell you this but slavery was a MAJOR issue during the debate over independence, in fact the Declaration of Independence was edited, after Jefferson wrote it, to remove any mention of slavery. That single issue could well have kept this nation from ever existing and was as explosive in 1776 as it was in 1858 and beyond. Slavery was very much an issue in Washington’s time.

He that shall go unnamed has offered to reset relations with the government of Iran, since it is working so well with Russia, and insists that if the two nations can just talk, they (Iran) will see how enlightened he really is, renounce all that is bad, and fall to their knees and worship him as all people should………Sorry.
Iran has taken the measure of our president and they are laughing in hs face. Iran may have a government of fanatics, but they are NOT stupid. BHO is a joke to them.

This is the first time I have allowed myself to think this, but I’m now not sure the election is going to matter. I’m now starting to think Obama is simply not going to give up power regardles of what happens. Oh, he’ll “win’ the election just like they do in N. Korea and Russia. He’s dismissed congress and they haven’t done a damn thing, DOJ is his enabler and will do his will, he disdains the SCOTUS and at all costs wants to destroy its authority, the people are lemmings who believe him while holding out their hands for the next entitlement. Today I’m disturbed and worried more than I have ever been before and for the first time feeling a darkness that may not be so easily cared for as with a simple election. God help us.

Unless the congress gets a spine, reclaims it’s rightful authority, and puts an immediate end to being a doormat for this administration we are in serious trouble. You used the word that hit me as soon as I read the news, “Unilateral” he can NOT on his own side-step the constitution and alter policy or laws of the United States. Obama can be impeached under the take care clause which says he must take care to execute and enforce the laws of the United States. The president does not have the authority to break, bend, ignore or change U.S. law and this guy is clearly in violation on several fronts.

He’s desperate for votes, he knows right now he’s beat. He’s attempting to skew the game by this completely unconstitutional act, the push for gay marriage and who knows what else we are going to see before November. He’s simply trying to rig the election, no more and no less. This thing is going to get out of control and we have no hope for the rule of law since the DOJ is a corrupt enabler.

The difference between Clinton and Obama is Clinton is a politician that became a criminal. Obama is a criminal that pretends to be a politician. (good Heavens, I think I just said something nice about Bill Clinton)

  • May 31, 2012 at 10:30am

Awesom Idea ! Let’s allow the government to decide how much we should eat and drink. I don’t see any downside to this at all !

  • May 21, 2012 at 12:05pm

Okay, then fine, hand me a tinfoil hat, because I’ve crossed over to the “birther” side. Until about a month ago I was still convinced it was complete hogwash. I do not like Obama, but was reasonably certain he was born in the U.S. Not now, there are just far too many questions that aren’t being fully answered and more keep coming to light. The birth certificate that was released on line, in my oppinion, has been proven to be false. It doesn’t even appear to be a GOOD fake. Now the whole Bio thing. To call it a “fact checking error” is just laughable, If you are going to lie, at least make it a GOOD lie ! There is no way that Obama did not have full knowledge of what that bio said, and he most likely supplied the details himself. The thing existed for more than a decade. Could he have been inventing a background to garner a little extra “street cred”? Certainly, but that opens up even more questions about this guy. How much smoke does there have to be before someone says, hey we have a fire here? If he was born in the U.S., please just conclusively prove it and we’ll all move on. If he wasn’t born here then bring legal action against him and remove him from office. Also what happens if he is out of office when the truth comes out? Is he still culpable, can he still be charged with a crime?

Ya know, the Rev. Wright is a lot of things, some that scare the hell out of me, but the man doesn’t come across as a liar. Nor, as I recall, has anyone through all of this ever come forward and accused him of being dishonest. Radical, yes, a liar I don’t think so. But he will never turn that box over, ever, and we will never know exactly what is in it.
