  I think The Blaze has wasted its time by even putting this story out. It only proves that more gun laws are useless and criminals, determined to do mass damage, seem to have their own rules that don’t follow the governments…..how dare them ! As a law-abiding citizen, I am offended by this and I demand that criminals stop breaking the law immediately ! It’s getting to expensive !

  I agree ! This is really a stupid point and a waste of time to report ! I don’t see how it made it to release ! The Blaze can do better than that. OBVIOUSLY, a criminal is not going to draw any attention to themselves by applying for a permit ! For a gun or explosives ! I am pro-gun, and 2nd Amendment and believe the CRIMINAL should be punished for their crimes and not the law-abiding citizens.

  I thought is was a very sincere letter with some real concerns and had a luster of irrogance towards the presidents gun issues today.I thought it was very logical and i hope it plants a seed in the presidents head that spreads.Americans will not be disarmed!

But lets not forget that AR15′s were in existance before the M16.The government wanted a new rifle for the troops in Vietnam and had the AR15 tweeked to the M16 model.The .223 round was developed, from the .222 round ,to wound the enemy for the purpose of gaining information during interogations. I don’t believe the AR15 is a “term” as much an actual item.There are several companies making there own versions of the AR15.I don’t think there was anything wrong with your comment,i just wanted to clarify the AR15 issue i seen.

  So how would they respond to a big fat lawsuit for violating the first amendment and add to it descrimination, for being associated with guns in any form at all? I would like to see how fast they change their attitudes then !
