I think former Democrats make the best Republicans. They go around telling people they made a mistake in the last election voting for (insert name here) and how they’ll never do that again, what a mistake that was, how they’ve seen the light, not gonna be duped by liberals again, etc. The last thing you want to do is muzzle a former Dem…….they’re priceless! Then there’s Joe Biden. Thankfully he’s one Democrat who will never see the light…..and those of us on the right look forward to his never-ending stream of gaffes. Please Joe, never defect!

Hey Jesse, help me understand. When Eric Holder points his finger in the face of a reporter, a white reporter, a reporter asking a legitimate question and that’s ok with you? But it’s not ok for the Governor of Arizona to make her point with Obama by pointing her finger? Personally, I think the Governor was pointing with the wrong finger……but maybe next time she’ll get it right.

Some of the posts here crack me up. Consider this. Sears doesn’t make anything. They strongarm manufacturers like American Yard Products and Whirlpool to make their Crapsman mowers and Kenmore products. Then after a manufacturer builds the capacity to make all the stuff for Sears, Sears really puts the moves on them to cut costs or else. And if the manufacturers don’t cater to Sears they’re left with capacity they can’t use. So many companies have swallowed the Sears kool-aid and lost. Walmart is almost as bad – but at least they don’t private label to confuse the public. Seriously, anything you can buy at Sears, you can buy somewhere else….and most times for less money. I’ll never forget when Sears and Kmart merged, one of the business gurus on television referred to it as “the marriage of two losers”. Nothing has changed.

Al Gore didn’t get rich on his own…..he ripped off countless numbers of people. So maybe Warren is partially correct? I wonder what kind of taxes ol’ Al paid? I completely agree with the comments about businesses paying taxes above and beyond income taxes. In Michigan, we have a personal property tax that charges us for every new machine or piece of furniture or tool we buy. And those tax dollars go to support local communities………for things like police, fire, roads, schools, and whatever else the city fathers want to spend it on.

I’m an evangelical. I vote. I will vote for the most conservative person on the ballot come Nov. 2012. If it’s Romney, so be it. I’d rather have a moderate Morman in the White House than 4 more years of you know who. I’ll also state this: Most of the people I hang with are of the same persuasion. We all need to be praying that our current national nightmare ends with the next election.
