  • @Sosorryforyou- yes, God’s love is unconditional, but the Bible still says homosexuality is wrong…. in the Old AND New Testament.. the real damage is convincing young and old people alike that gay is ok and they will face God some day and find out how wrong they are – that is what is sad….. and Paulk shouldn’t have given up. And by the way…….. I struggle with same-sex attractions and know its wrong…. making it to Heaven is more important than giving in….. and Heaven is not worth mising to give into the lie you and others like you perpetuate

  • he’s just a mayor of one city, yes a big city, but whu is he sticking his big nose into the whole country’s business… this guy is so full of himself. He is not my mayor, so I wish he’d shut his trap and clean up his own city.

  • I’m a Christian guy that struggles with same-sex attraction, and have not always managed to live as I should, and I am disappointed in Portman. What good are our standards, priciples, and beliefs if we change them because of someone else, even someone we love very much? The Bible is clear homosexuality is wrong… I wish it were different, would make my life easier, but that is the way it is. It isn’t fair, but there is a lot in life that isn’t fair. If we are right to believe the Bible, and I believe we are, if Portman’s son lives his gay lifestyle all his life and misses Heaven, he will curse his father, not thank him.

  • @lessoneleg……I’m gay and don’t get gays. It is not a choice, but I believe we can be born with a predisposition towards it, just like someone can be born with the predispostion to be an alcoholic. I’ve read a lot of ideas and have come to believe that is likely. Some people born with the leaning or predisposition may never act on those depending on their environment and other factors. In my case: I had no brothers, never bonded with other boys my age – got picked on and bullied by other boys – even my cousins, mainly because I was lousy at sports and wanted to read books instead. My dad seemed – and still seems – disappointed in me because I didn’t do the sports and hunting thing and I felt unloved by him – he quit hugging/kissing me when I was around 8 because I was getting too old for it…. my mother was and is till too controlling……. those are all things consvervative studies agree are triggers and common in a lot of people who are gay. And for the record…. I hate being gay. I am not woman trapped in a man’s body, I’m a guy that is attracted to other guys and wish I could marry a woman, have kids, and be normal…. so don’t lump all gay people together. Not all of us want it, not all of us want to legalize gay marriage, etc

  • @joeslick – awesome comment man “Another “Toyota” incident…they asked for it, they got it.” – best comment on here, ever

  • I’d like to see statistics added for alcohol related deaths.. by vehicle and other ways put up against guns. I’d bet that they would total more than gun deaths, but you don’t see them trying to ban beer

  • I think it was pathetic that eHarmony gave in, and that the gays suing even had a case….. there are tons of gay dating/hook up sites that cater only to gay people and no heterosexuals, so it isn’t like they don’t have their own sites……or should I say “our”, as I am a reluctant gay male myself. I was disappointed in eHarmony giving in, and feel some heterosexuals should do tit for tat and start suing the gay sites that don’t cater to heterosexuals also…. and believe me, there are a lot

  • the March for Life the day before had a much bigger turn out and didn’t get much attention from the media…. pathetic

  • There ae bunch of liberal kooks on here….. the woman did not kidnap the kid – she gave birth to it, and I can understand why since she is a Christian she wouldn’t want the kid around a lesbian, having wrong ideas and beliefs instilled in her. And it may sound trite to Bible haters, but God does not recognze gay relationships and says that lifestyle is wrong, so I would bet all I have that God would be on the biological mother’s side on this one, and the Bibl even gives allowance for breaking the law when it goes against what we believe

  • another “isolated incident” of Muslims attacking the US
