  Barack Obama’s friend and political mentor, Bill Ayres, established his street cred doing the very same thing as we witnessed in Boston yesterday–setting off explosives in spots where people could be hurt or killed. And they were hurt and killed. That’s right, Ayres is Obama’s associate (not “just a guy in the neighborhood”) who is just as loathsome as whoever set these devices off and severed legs of innocent people in the process.

  OBAMA’S FRIEND did this very act. And no, it’s not a “right wing” thing; it’s a LEFT WING THING. Environmentalists, Marxists, Socialists, Occupiers, ACORN, union thugs, anti-war, pro-aborts, name it. LEFT wing is domestic terrorism, not right wing. No Tea Party gatherings have used bombs or threats, unless a “Don’t Tread on Me” flag is a terrorist message.

  Yeah, that’ll be the left’s next claim.

  This woman found a formula that worked for her, saved her marriage, and healed her relationship. But no, the left can’t abide that. She has to fall in line with THEIR rules, THEIR standards, THEIR principles. Whatever worked for her is wrong if it’s not THEIR prescription. Doesn’t she understand what’s good for her?

  Well, apparently she does. The results speak for themselves.

  I think I’ve got the perfect solution to the debates over abortion and gun control: for every restriction on gun ownership–however major or minor–an equally major or minor law restricting abortion must be part of the law.

  How would that be? You want more background checks? OK, ultrasounds before any abortion. No high-cap clips? Then no abortions after 12 weeks. Get the idea?

  The left is so afraid of guns–even the word “guns” (another 3-letter word, eh, Joe?)–that if you say something nice about guns, point your fingers in the shape of one, or use that word in a sentence, you’re a danger to others and must be isolated from society. What a bunch of loons.

  @vanceuppercut–No one is trying to “ban guns”? What planet are you on? That’s what Feinstein’s bill does–it BANS over 100 specific guns. No, it doesn’t BAN ALL GUNS; no one is saying that. Yet.

  But Feinstein has already said (in 1995, I think it was) that if it were up to her, she would get rid of ALL guns. If you don’t believe Dems are more inclined to BAN ALL GUNS, then you don’t listen very well.

  Like the ad says, “Gun control” isn’t about guns; it’s about control. And if there’s anything Obama strives for in every way, it’s CONTROL. Control our energy use and production, control our wages and salaries, control our business practices, control our schools, control our politics. You and I must decrease, and he–and government–must increase. That’s the Master Plan. Don’t listen so much to what he says; watch what he DOES. It’s all about CONTROL. CONTROL. CONTROL.

  Yes, it is weird. You have that part right.

  Being Southern Baptist, though, you know two things: 1) there’s as many references in Scripture to people of the same sex marrying than there are to animals or objects marrying; so that is totally foreign to the Bible. And 2) “fornication” encompasses any sexual activity outside the bounds of marriage. That leaves no Biblical wiggle room to say God approves of homosexual activity. So I don’t know what you mean by favoring “gay rights”– unless that means they should not be mistreated on that basis, which is fine. But that’s a far cry from embracing their agenda.

  If this doesn’t work, they’ll just redefine “mental illness” to include such things as being a conservative, driving a large car, attending religious services, owning stock, denying global warming, doubting Darwinism, or eating meat. If you control the language, you control the debate.
