Church vs. State Complaint Leads City to Remove Christian Crosses on Water Tower — Now See What They’ve Been Replaced With
May 24, 2013 at 2:20pm
Good point. That’s very similar to the historical conflict between the Catholics and Protestants in the U.K.
There is always going to be something in which people to be part of an exclusive (particular) group, whether it is religion, IQ, income, philosphy, or any some other status. I suppose the saying, “Birds of Feather Flock Together” is no longer acceptable, because it excludes someone.

If atheist are truly A-Theist, then why do they concern themselves with the placement of any religious symbols. I thought atheist believed there is no God, higher power or whatever, and therefore, we Christians are just wasting our time. So again, why are A-Theists concerned that we “waste our time” putting up religious symbols.
Police Face Tough Questions on Handling of Case Involving 3 Ohio Women Rescued After 10 Years (Plus — See Chilling Photos Taken Inside the House)
May 8, 2013 at 12:22am
People seem to forget the police need a warrant based upon probable cause to enter your home. Unless, the police are in a hot pursuit (foot pursuit) or they personally observed (plain view) a violation of the law, or you invite them inside, they can not enter your home.
Unfortunately, reports from neighbors are not considered completely valid unless the police corraborate those reports and then it is still required, in some jurisdictions, to get a warrant.
To get a warrant, ihe police need to provide a particular reason to a judge as why they need enter a home and particularly describe what they are searching for. Fishing expeditions are not permitted. Otherwise, unfriendly neighbors can make false claims and the police could come in your house.
The police likely knew the house was suspicious of something. The criminals were probably doing their best to avoid any suspicion.
Hindsight is always 20/20.
Decorated Vet Who Was Arrested After ‘Rudely Displaying’ His Rifle on Hike With Teen Son Gets a HUGE Shock at the NRA Convention

As law enforcement officer (LEO), it’s saddening to see other LEO’s aggressive toward gun owners. It’s depends a lot on the generation and region. Older LEO’s grew up around firearms, so guns are not a big deal. Younger LEO’s have grown in the same world where only bad guys have guns so that belief is carried on into their career.
I would hope citizens would be able to defend themselves when needed. The police can’t be everywhere.
I’m glad to see more and more open carriers on a daily basis here in NM. NRA should encourage a national open carry day at least once per month or once per week.
And, don’t forget, the 2nd Amendment also applies to knifes.
‘Pi**ed at God’: Is It Okay for Christians to Be Angry at the Almighty?
May 3, 2013 at 3:14pm
We may like or understand God’s plan. But, until we have our own universe, make everything “fair” according our will, it all belongs to Him. He is the master of everything. It’s his law, his plan, his everything. We were created to glorify Him.
We need to submit to His will, just like we expect our children to submit to our will. And, submit does not mean subjugated. We want our children to follow our will because they choose to a love us as parents, not because we have to force them.
There is only One way.
White House: Boston Bombing Suspect Won’t Be Charged as ‘Enemy Combatant’
April 22, 2013 at 2:33pm
Don’t we have to have an offically declared enemy in order to declare Tsarnaev an enemy combant?
I agree he is an enemy of the U.S. But, he is a U.S. citizen and should be tried in civil criminal court. Declaring him a enemy combatany may set a precedent and create another specialized crime which could apply to many criminal acts. Too many crimes are already specialized, such as hate crimes because of age, sex, race, sexual orientation, etc.
This prosecution should be treated no differently than the prosecution of Timothy McVeigh.
Homeland Security Soliciting Bids for Thousands of Rounds of Ammunition But Former SEAL Explains Why It’s Completely Normal
February 8, 2013 at 6:51pm
I am very familiar with the FLETCs. There are at least 3 locations in the U.S. Each location conducts various basic law enforcement programs which involves firearms training. Each student shoots at least 120 pistol rounds per day for about 8 weeks equals 4800 rounds times 24 students per class equals 115,200. I would guestimate a total of 50 from all of the various locations. 115,200 time 50 equals 5,760,000 rounds /year.
That doesn’t count the issued ammunition the officers/agents in the field that fall under DHS and are required to qualifty multiple times per year.
Boy Scouts and Their Families Deliver 1.4 Million Signatures to BSA Headquarters Demanding an End to ‘No Gays’ Policy

My son is in Boy Scouts, but I do not fear a homosexual man will accost him. The Boys Scouts of America was founded on Christian precepts. Under those precepts sexual immorality such as homosexuality, adultery, and fornication are wrong.
The Almigthy God of the universe declared them wrong and we, his creation, have said it’s okay.
It’s an endless attack on anything that stands for Good. The attackers don’t realize they are being used by Evil.

The Third Reich received its idea of numbering/tattooing the Jews from the US Govt action of issuing tribal enrollment numbers to American Indians. Also, many American Indians were forced to undergo sterilization during the 1950s when a family had too many children.

What the Heck Is This ‘Deer Antler Spray’ You’re Hearing About Involving a Super Bowl Player?
January 31, 2013 at 4:14pm
I first recall hearing about the deer antler supplement in 1993-1995. The Soviets/Russians purportedly used it and once the USSR collapsed, much of their training info was leaked or sold to U.S. olympic trainers, bodybuilders, powerlifters, etc.
I thought it was de-bunked as a useless supplement. It looked good on paper and in labs but failed when actually used.
It’s based on the influx of anabolic hormones (Insulin Growth Factor -1 [IFG-1]) when deer are growing antler as a phenomenal rate. So, scientist figured…
It’s OLD new in the fitness and bodybuilding words.
