  Per Hillary, we now have learned that the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor was a spontaneous action in protest of more people in America having radios than did those in Japan, and that the Nazi concentration camps were just a summer camp for Jewish Children gone awry.

  All sarcasm aside, I would like a military persective on these hearings as to what assets were in the region, who in the military was notified and what options were pursued if any. Panetta’s testimony was a joke and the Republicans did a terrible job of prepping for his testimony.

  If there aren’t assets that can deploy in these situations, then why? and per Panetta’s testimony he said they could not have gotten there in time, but when they made that decision, they didn’t know if this was going to last 1 hour or 2 days.

  Sadly, I don’t think you are wrong. “It was a long time ago”.

  The media have their talking points. From Mika to Andrea Mitchell, they are being told what to say and when. It is not an accident as to how the media responds to these things. It is a planned and coordinated attack.

  Something which the Republicans have yet to grasp or implement.

  None of these were 9 hour seiges. All hit and run. Assets on the ground were in place to respond. Immediate reaction from the Whitehouse and State Dept in all accounts that was not disputed.

  Ambassadors killed and bodies dragged through the streets in your scenario and examples = 0.

  Number of Administration officials deployed on Sunday talk shows to lie about the cause and reaction to the attacks in your examples = 0

  Number of State Dept officials threatened if they spoke of the attacks or punished for speaking against the State Dept in your examples = 0

  People Died, Obama slept, More people died, Obama took the time to get his spin out and then Obama lied. And then Obama went on a campaign fundraiser trip.

  Then Biden said, “your son had balls of steel” or something like that and Hillary vowed to punish those that were responsible.

  Did you miss the news that the State Department finally put out 2 still pictures of possible perpetrators in Benghazi…….. LAST WEEK?

  This is the Gang That Couldn’t Shoot Straight if there ever was one. Embarrassing.

  I bet our enemies are really quaking in their boots now. Obama and Hillary really showed them what happens to Islamic Extremists when they kill our ambassadors and drag them through the street. That’ll teach ‘em.

  The General Public won’t be interested in this until Robert Redford does his movie where Barack Obama actually comes down in a helicopter and saves Ambassador Stevens while mowing all of the insurgents down with and AR-15 (modified to Automatic of course).

  In this version, Hillary will be on a head set talking to Obama as he mounts his assault and only her cunning and expertise in military operations can save the day as all of the white male military in the area are too afraid to respond and have been told to Stand Down by John McCain.

  In all seriousness, if we don’t have a military that can respond within 9 hours when we have that many assets and State Department personnel in the region, then what the Hell are we doing?

  In my mind, if the Military and White House had immediately deployed assets to respond and protect, the other issues almost go away.
