  I was never a recipient at an honors night. I was distinctly, barely average in public school for a variety of reasons. However, I was NEVER devastated! Nor was anyone I knew. There is far too much concern about feelings and not nearly enough about performance.

  It does not matter what the public opinion is. Every American has the right to own a gun because it is part of our written law founding this country. It does not matter what your opinion of the matter is, even if you are an elected representative in this country. The second amendment is our founding law and you cannot enact another law changing that, only a constitutional amendment can do that. Any limitation on the second amendment is illegal.

  The narcissistic modern America has completely lost any contact with reality. The purpose of marriage has never been about personal satisfaction and love. It has always been about a stable society, protecting children, and mutual support. Love grows out of those commitments. At it’s root, marriage is a biological and economic arrangement. This is why there are marriage laws in the first place; society has a vested interest in the stability of the family. Same sex marriage is simply unnecessary for the good of society and so need not be recognized. Individuals can already achieve all the rights of marriage through other legal means to satisfy their own personal desires.

  That is exactly what homosexuals cannot have: progeny. And that is why marriage was instituted, to protect the children, not to satisfy the parents “needs”.

  Of course they pick your pocket, and may well break your leg before all is done. Marriage is to protect children and the family unit. It is not about sex as entertainment, personal pleasure, individual identities, or fulfillment. Allowing homosexuals to marry will create a whole raft of further expectations and obligations that will impact all kinds of people on what they can say, how they live their lives, and dictate what they can and can’t do. Most of those people impacted wil not be homosexuals.

  It is another step in devaluing marriage, the family and children. It’s as if our biological reason for existance has been eliminated. It is only ti9me until we are eliminated. We have aborted millions of babies. Now we don’t have enough young people for the work force. Who knows how many brilliant minds were lost.

  I wish no ill for anyone, and if they have personal relationships I hope they are fulfilling. But there needs can be met through all kinds of legal means besides marriage. In fact, those means are already available to them. There is a reason for this push from homosexuals, and it will eventually pick your pocket and break your leg.

  Marriage was created to protect children and the family. Not to appease sexual appetites, personal attractions or emotional needs. Since we no longer protect the unborn, have turned sexual relations into entertainment, and determined that families are not necessary to a stable society, why not?

  Saranda – Heterosexual perverts go after young women. Male homosexual perverts go after young men. Trust me, I know. Are all homosexual men pedophiles. Of course not, just like all heterosexual men are not trolling young girls. But some are.

  I don’t believe I swore an oath to the Commander in Chief. I was expected to obey him. But even that is qualified. A solider is not required to obey a direct order that is against conscience. I believe I swore to uphold the Constitution.
