Entitled due to serving in the Army during a war (Vietnam)…..read the whole passage. Under law anyone who serves in the military service can be granted citizenship for their service to our country, they even have a citizen ceremony at Basic for those becoming citizens. I’ve had the honor of watching one, a proud moment.

Going to say, sorry, check again. Alaska is a right to carry state. If you’re legal to own it, you’re legal to carry it. Open OR concealed.

Thus the wise adage: don’t spook the horses. People have been sensitized to believe guns equal crime, unless you wear a uniform you’re a bad guy. A gun is a tool, and like a hammer, if it’s in the wrong hands you can kill with it, but you don’t hear about people running screaming from a home depot.
Anyone can look at the statistics and compare Switzerland and Japan. In Switzerland, every male over 17 is not only expected, but required to train with their militia, and is ISSUED a rifle. Japan on the other hand is an island that bans all firearms. Is Switzerland the “wild west” of Europe? No, they were the only European nation not invaded during TWO world wars. Which one has more violent crimes? Duh, Japan. They have attacks in kindergarten classrooms involving knives.
Lesson: guns do not make people more violent, they help to maintain freedom from oppression.

If you read it in Hebrew, it’s Thou shall not murder, which of course, has an entirely different meaning. It’s a translation issue that lead to murder turning into kill.

But you’re not going to be convinced of anything.

I agree! I think she did a wonderful job with that video. When did it become a bad thing to be proud of your country, flag, military, etc. etc.etc. ?????? My husband is serving this country right now, and I couldn’t be more proud of him. Hoorah Katy!

Wow, the Assistant State Attorney needs to rethink his opinion that these two outstanding people needed to be armed or kicking this guy’s **** before he was justified to use deadly force. AND way to go, over looking the fact one was drunk off his rocker, and the other was drugged out of his mind, yep….. in no way could they have posed a threat to this guy!~ (Sarcasm! and eye roll) I’m sure the ASA would just reason with them in the same position.

How about these guys give up their salaries they get from ‘representing the people’ and donate it to the programs that the ‘racist’ tea party is ‘taking’ away from poor people. Put your money where your mouth is and financially support these programs yourself. Won’t do that? Why not? That’s right, you know how best to spend other peoples’ money better than they do. West should run as far and as fast from these racists as he can.

I was simply impressed by how this young man conducted himself, with honor, as I am sure he will serve. He didn’t throw a fit, as one might feel is justified, but with dignity beyond his years. Be safe and congratulations to you both!
