  they probably split the check it only takes 2 seconds to do that. There is no way this “pastor” picked up anyone else check.

  Lets start with the fact that the 10% for G-d is a TITHE not a TIP (and that is pretty sad a “pastor” only gives the minimum tithe).
  I do not like auto tips, but I understand it is for large groups like 20 or more. I have seen many servers get stiffed after busting their **** for a large group. 18% is pretty much the standard, if the ‘pastor’ had bad service she could have spoken with the manager.
  A tip is you paying for service. Most states min wage for servers is a little over $2. The standard tip is 15%-20%. If I get the minimum on service I give 15% the better the service the better the tip. I have gone well over 200% before. If I get bad service I will be speaking with the manager.
  The thing most people that have not done the job do not realize is that the server is TAXED ON TIPS!! They are required to declare their tips and there is a minimum amount of their sales that must be declared to the IRS as income(if they are get it or not). So If you stiff them on a $100 bill they are still taxed on $10 of income! So to those of you who will not tip because you think it is the restaurant’s job, I see you as cheap crooks who rob those servers!
  All that said, the server should have at least covered the merchant ID. That “pastor” should be ashamed, but she isn’t. She is just embarrassed for being shown for what she is. It seems some of the most unChrist-like acts are those who claim to be Christian.

  You pay for a seat. If you can not fit in it then you need to buy another, not make someone else lose their seat.
