  Yeah, we have seen recently on TV the “good People” that constitute the police departments there….
  You don’t have to own a gun to be a conservative, but you DO have to recognize that without CITIZENS being ARMED to the teeth, in every nation that has been disarmed the CITIZENS have died by the tens of millions at the hands of their own governments.

  This is HISTORICAL FACT. Since 1915 9 different nations have disarmed their citizens and then slaughtered them. Now England and AUSTRALIA for crying out loud have allowed their governments to take their guns “for their own protection” and gun crimes have skyrocketed. Citizens die every day that would not have otherwise. Home invasions in Australia, formerly almost unknown, are now commonplace, as the criminals, (ARMED) have absolutely NO FEAR to invade an occupied home or business. Assaults with weapons and rapes and murders all skyrocket. And the Government forces, the “POLICE” at least in the United States are no longer in the business of “PROTECT AND SERVE” but are most often strictly tasked with MAINTAINING LAW AND ORDER or MAINTAINING THE PUBLIC PEACE. Recent lawsuits have verified that the POLICE have no mandate nor obligation to PROTECT any individual CITIZEN but rather to do what is needed to protect PUBLIC ORDER (slang for peaceful slaves).

  A note to “Happy Conservative”
  Whatever you are you are not a conservative. Even if you are not “gun people” which a lot of my friends are not, you absolutely MUST understand that this has nothing to do with what make or model of gun we prefer, but with the very essential CONSTITUTIONAL issue of Citizens Rights. The Second Amendment was written specifically to guaranty the ability of the CITIZENRY to oppose and even OVERTHROW the government if the government went bad. It HAS gone bad, and is trying to take our guns before they come and take away the REST of our rights, ALL OF WHICH rest on the right to pack weaponry that will defend us against not just criminal elements but criminal GOVERNMENTS.

  How can you call yourself a CONSERVATIVE and not see this?

  I have read every post on this thread and found not death threats or threats against the government. The only really objectionable comments came from leftist TROLLS.   The problem with that is that we then become like them. I believe that as the catastrophes mount, as the poverty increases, more and more will look for help. If we help them based on our faith, and do it from LOVE, perhaps some hearts will be turned and some souls saved. Perhaps enough of those that are left after the catastrophes will see that it has always been faith-based charity that has rebuilt lives and communities after disasters. “Winning the hearts of the people” is what we should be doing.

  Show the benighted followers of FEMA that there truly is only ONE Living GOD, and He does not occupy the White House. Remind them that whenever, where-ever around the world people have turned away from GOD and toward GOVERNMENT as the solution the their problems, the problems only get worse. Few people who have voted away their freedom have ever gotten it back.

  And then there is the OCCUPY movement among others. Tens of thousands of lefties on blogs swearing to go nuts and riot if Romney is elected. The likelihood of an actual civil war erupting (given that the man in the White House is fomenting division and hatred) is a LOT higher than it has been since 1865. The Makers have finally come to understand that the EATERS will never stop demanding more, and that the morally bankrupt will continue to fight true freedom. This election is definitely the most important since I have been voting, and depending on the decisions that tens of millions of Americans make individually, we may or may not have a Republic come next January. Or even sooner.

  I exhort daily prayer on your knees for America, that her people have some discernment, and that discerning, they choose the right: Freedom, Respect for Life, Honesty, Dignity, Courage.

  The forces of darkness have combined against America, and are doing it from INSIDE. These issues with the voting machines are TRULY the barest tip of this iceberg.

Every one of us can be hounded by one or another agency no matter how clean we live. And frankly, MOST of us who have contributed to Conservative efforts in any way are on that list. Our only hope is to elect Romney/Ryan and begin to return to the rule of LAW

  Keep LOVE in your hearts, it will drive out fear. Be strong and faithful. Remember that we are in very fact AT WAR within our society.   Seriously? You must get most of your NEWS from the “C” networks (nbC, Cbs, abC, msnbC etC. The fact is that under the current “Progressive” tax system, 47% of American households DO NOT PAY TAXES. That means that every household that does is also footing the bill for the next door neighbor that, yes, WILL vote for Obama because they expect him to TAKE CARE OF THEM, cradle to grave.   You ask why Glenn advocates PRAYER but also says that Prayer won’t do the job. Prayer is an essential part of the process. We cannot hope to overcome such seemingly overwhelming opposition without help from On High. But prayer by itself will only do so much.

  Pray like everything depends on GOD, and then go and work like everything depends on you. That is what my understanding of basic Christian doctrine as had from the scriptures. There are times such as now when the need is for much sincere, humble and fervent prayer. At the same time, there are MANY things that can be done that if enough got on board, things would change.

  Check in with http://www.numbersusa.com and sign up. Go back regularly and DO that the action board suggests. Email, call, fax your representatives (be respectful, LOGICAL, and if possible, back up your comments with the CONSTITUTION).

  Study the Constitution. Keep up with current events NOT from the TV or mainstream media news. Stop searching with GOOGLE, they block info that the Administration doesn’t want diseminated. Email ALL your contacts with important news and expository material. GET THE TRUTH OUT. This next election, if we actually get to have one, will be the most important any of us will ever take part in. The other side has the ENTIRE media establishment and billions of YOUR dollars with which to propagandize you and your neighbors.
