  They seem to be trying to find low-level fall guys. What’s remarkable is that our standards are so low that dishonesty is the norm.. and we take it. How many lies is too much? Shouldn’t we stop at one? We the people are the “boss”. You’re fired! You’re fired! Fired! Fired! Fired! and you sir…fired!!

  There’s a time and place to have that conversation. When a student challenges you in front of others some will take that and make it into a teaching moment. But to defend yourself in front of others benefits no one. I would have said the same thing to Bliss if his venting disrupted learning. My authority as a teacher would be diminished if I argued with a student in front of other students. I had a boss at a school age care program that argued with 6th grade girls, and those girls treated him like dirt. His arguing only emboldened their resolve to run things their way. Discipline problems increased and no consequences were given. In relation to this scenario I probably would have said to Bliss, “Meet with me at the end of class (or x time) and we can talk.”

  I kept staring at the woman on the right (of the picture) during the testimony. I wish they focused their lenses on the men giving the testimonies. Instead every media person in the back was also in focus..

  I thought journalism was dead. I was wrong. Journalism is government’s left arm (while politicians are its right). If it weren’t for the Blaze, I don’t know if this would ever have seen the light of day. How do I feel about this? I’m pissed.
