  • AMEN! I pastor a church of well under 100. A couple in their 70′s takes in foster infants and has for years. A couple in their 50/60′s has recently adopted 4 (the youngest 8 years old) after their kids were out of the home. Two couples have taken in foster kids and adopted them. Two couples have taken foster kids without adoption. Another couple adopted two and they are now grown. The evangelical church is alive and well in the area of care and adopting orphans and unwanted. We also support monthly two orphanages overseas, Three from the church are visiting one of those orphanages in Haiti next month..

  • I understand that ‘Wide-Receiver’ was centered out of 1 city; whereas, ‘Fast and Furious’ was operated out of 9 cities.

  • Of course I believe in a special 6 day creation. The frauds of the evolutionists abound: Peking man, Nebraska Man, Lucy (Donald Johanson (sp) said, “This is no missing link, it is not at all human.”)… The false data of evolutionists remind me of the ‘made up facts’ of man-made global warming.
The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics shows evolution is a lie. Even with an open system and “ice crystals”; an open system can not remove the hummingbird from the blender with a frog in it and create a frog over time. [Creating a frog with all its ingredients from fluids in a blender would be much easier than what is required in natural evolution.)
The Roche Limit, the magnetic poles, the salt in the sea, the spinning of the earth (and their changes) do not allow for more than 20 million years and sometimes less than 20 thousand years – according to science. Science is on the side of the creationst.
The evolutionist believes he can answer the question of where the physical body came from but regarding the mind, soul, spirit (personality) of man he has no answers. For the creationist those are easily answered in that we are made “in the image of God.”
I just don’t have enough faith to be an evolutionist or even atheist.

  • As I listened to the interview they kept pressing Franklin Graham for an affirmative answer. I, too, believe that he should not change his answer or apologize..
“Many will say to Me in that day, “Lord, Lord, Have we not prophesied in your Name, cast out demons in Your Name…? And then I will declare to them, “I never knew you; depart from Me….”
If one believes in Jesus Christ in their heart – it changes their life and Christ becomes center of that life.
“Even the demons believe and tremble.” One can be a ‘Christian’ only in his mind but not really be a born-again Christian. Only God can see into the heart – not Franklin Graham.

  • I suppose if he called it the ‘power of positive’ thinking the author would understand.? It does confuse the world when our faith in Jesus Christ permeates every facet of our lives. Tim is to ‘run as if to win the prize.’ He is to ‘forget what is behind and… press on, that he may lay hold of that for which Chrsit Jesus has also laid hold of him.’
It isn’t that he denies or doesn’t learn lessons from past mistakes, rather he grows and moves forward. May God be glorified by this man who remains faithful to Jesus Christ, who is the Lord God, Saviour and Redeemer of all who call on Him.

  • If we look honestly at the facts we know this earth has not been around here very long:
1st and 2nd law of thermodynamics
Roche limit (the Moon moves further from the earth each year – not that long ago it would have crashed into the earth)
Changing magnetic poles (less than 1 million years ago nothing could have lived on this earth because of the strong magnetic pull.)
The rotation of the earth continues to slow down (during the ‘process of evolution’ we would have been spinning so fast the earth would have been flat like a pancake at the equator.)
Missing links are frauds and still missing
Evolutionary change is not happening now – even with scientific ‘help’

There are so many factors that show this earth has not been here long enough for evolution to work.
I believe in Adam and Eve and they were created by God under 10,000 years ago.
God does not lie – He was there – we were not.

  • I have worked with CCC in the past. I support CCC and will continue to support them. I can understand them dropping ‘Campus’ from their name – because of the broad ministry of the Jesus Film, 4 Spiritual Laws, and even in the past the “I Found It” Campaign.
I can understand them dropping ‘Crusade’ because of the offensiveness of that word in much of the world.
(CRU) ChRist jesUs is lord. Christ will Redeem yoU if you will but call on Him. I believe they need to work some acrostic or name that does keep Jesus Christ center.
Their missionaries are NOT ashamed of Jesus Christ. My prayers continue to go up to God’s throne on their behalf for boldness and wisdom.

  • Yes, let’s spend money keeping an eye on those “militant Christians” who start programs like ‘Safe Harbor”, or those who volunteer at Crisis Pregnancy Centers, or those who pour their lives into an orphanage. The “militant Christians” are ones who live authentic Christian lives 24/7 – ones who do not ‘consider their lives as dear to themselves.’
“Militant Christians” would love their neighbors, give their lives for their enemies, give all they have to the poor, help at soup kitchens, rescue missions, sponsor poor children in third world countries, send shoeboxes all over the world, work in prisons, teach people to read, give their lives trying to put an ‘unknown language’ into writing and translating the Bible into that language.
We had better keep an eye on the militant Christians.

  • What does UBL’s death have to do with a Sunday Sermon? His name was not even mentioned yesterday. The people come into church to hear the Word of God and of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The centrality of Christ must be proclaimed. The free gift of eternal life because of His shed blood and the opportunity of abundant life for obedient ‘bond-slaves’ needs to be offered and encouraged.
If I preach on anything else I am wasting their time.

  • To me the issue is partially the birth certificate but the deeper issue regards his lying ways: “The most transparent administration…” “Available on line… 3 days… before I sign…” Where are passport records, college records, Punahou, SS #, who authored his books, what lies do they contain…?
    “The most transparent….”

I am not sure why ‘we’ let the press get away with labeling this issue conservative, tea party, or republican; did this not start with Hillary’s lawyer in the primary? How much has this POTUS spent (in campaign funds from what I understand) to keep this issue out of the courts? WHY?

I not sure that I agree with GB, this issue is important – but in connection with the bigger issue of truth and transparency. At least someone have the courage to ask him why those around him (including relatives) have said different things regarding where he was born: Queens, Kapiolani, Kenya, the letter to KH (let the public see it – transparency issue again)…
