  • Lynskinners, as a runner I have to call you out on this. Not every runner looks like the runners crossing the finish line at the Boston Marathon. There are a great many runners that are heavier and up until last year I was one of them. I used to be 235 pounds and I have run half marathons. The men are called Clydesdales and the women Athenas. You’d be surprised at what some of the heavier runners can accomplish. I have seen some heavier runners do the obstacle races and they are no easy task. So please, don’t let the look for you and certainly don’t judge a book by it’s cover. She may not be running half marathons at a 7:00/mile pace but she could be doing them at 10:00/mile and that is nothing to discredit.

  • Funny! Yep, I said the same thing! Great minds do think alike!

  • Sadly, he makes more sense than our elected officials here in the states.

  • Isn’t that the same speech that he used during La Villa Strangiato?

  • Obviously, you don’t comprehend the lyrics of Rush all that well. By-tor and the Snow Dog is a mythical story. Many of their lyrics are quite well written. As for the speech, it doesn’t surprise me all that much coming from Alex. I would rather have heard an appropriate speech that may have departed from usual speeches, without the use of “blah” of course.

  • I believe it was found that way. It was great to read all the other stories and experiences many of you posted. Stay safe everyone!

  • Overall I guess I should note that the message is what is really important. I think that was well done and I applaud the continuance into Acts beyond the resurrection.

  • Yes, I noticed some inaccuracies but what is the difference? Most Christians when faced with the truth don’t want to accept it anyway for they rather cling to tradition. In the movie, Mary arrived at the tomb when it was light but in John 20:1, Mary arrived at the tomb while it was still dark. This is important to note with the time line of the resurrection. Christ was crucified on a Wednesday and placed in the tomb before the ‘high’ sabbath (John 19:31). As Christ himself stated, he would be in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights (Matt 12:40) making crucifixion on Friday impossible. There were two Sabbaths that week, a high Sabbath (the Feast of Unleavened Bread) and the seventh day sabbath (Saturday Sabbath). Keep in mind that days were calculated from sundown to sundown. The Passover and Last Supper meal were on a Tuesday (Tuesday sundown to Wednesday sundown). The next day was the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Wednesday sundown to Thursday sundown) Lev 23: 5-7 in which no Jew was to work. On Friday, Mary bought and prepared spices for she bought them after the Sabbath but also rested on the Sabbath after preparing the spices. (Mark 16:1 and Luke 23: 55-56). The only way she could have done this is if there were two Sabbaths. I am simply a truth-seeker. The inaccuracies have really been perpetuated for too long (Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter). It’s time that people embrace the Biblical truth of the matter.

  • Uh, wasn’t there a mass shooting in Norway last year where 77 people were killed. If Bloomberg says that mass shootings only happen in America then he is lying. If he cannot tell the truth to the nation, he should be removed from office.

  • Let’s consider 3 as the metric or even 1, what do you propose to do? You can’t fix crazy and you cannot legislate goodness. Let us consider that you take away all of the guns. Timothy McVeigh used a fertilizer bomb to take down the Oklahoma building. The terrorists used planes to take down the towers of the World Trade Center. Evil is evil and if someone is hell bent on carrying it out, they will find a way. This man could have easily gotten into a car and plowed down a bus stop full of children and parents. He could have gone through one bus stop and headed down the street to others until the police or someone could catch up to him. What are you going to do? What do you propose my good-intentioned friend? I think it is safe to speak for all of us when I say, it hurts our hearts to see innocent little children gunned down in a place they should feel safe.
