TEXASGRANNY I understand your frustration, but I am afraid one of the largest problems with our country today is that it is crippled with people who simply are content to roll over and take it, because fighting is “too much work” or that they fear their voice will be heard. Is this what our Founding Fathers created our country for? To be filled with people too discouraged to stand up and act? The reason Clinton wasn’t removed was because the Senate acquitted him. He was impeached by the House. Regardless of whether Obama is removed, my point is that we cannot sit around and let him get away with taking our liberties inch by inch. Where do we draw the line? We need to let our House reps know we will not stand for this and that we demand demand that a resolution to impeach President Obama be filed with the House Judiciary Committee for the President’s threat and disregard to the United States Constitution. Believe it or not, our congressional representatives are ELECTED officials and WE THE PEOPLE are their bosses. This was proven last November when we FIRED a bunch of them. If enough voices are raised, they have to act. I urge you, please raise YOUR voice and do not be content with laying idle while your liberties are stolen from you.

BREEZE, you are correct, the House Judiciary Committee charges with impeachment while the Senate tries the hearing. Yes, I know there is a long shot with the current Senate, but at least the process would make news, get people THINKING and give the GOP nominee a bigger boost.

Okay, George. Since capitalism has been so bad for you, give your billions away to charity, then.

“founded on genocide and built on the backs of slaves.” Yeah, and let me guess, Mike….it’s a thyroid imbalance, isn’t it?

“We have basic civil rights standards in our society. A business can‘t shun you because you’re an atheist.” Yeah, and a president’s administration shouldn’t violate our First Amendment rights by forcing businesses to pay for contraception in their health care coverage, either. I guess anything goes as long as it’s in favor of non-Christians.

ENOUGH talk! IMPEACH OBAMA!
January 20, 2012 at 10:07pm
PLEASE contact your House Representative and tell them to IMPEACH OBAMA! Enough is ENOUGH!

Everyone, PLEASE contact your House Representative and tell them you want Obama impeached!
The in-state tuition for illegals is just a magnet, or incentive for more to come over illegally, and risk their lives in the process. It was also a means for Perry to secure a large portion of the Hispanic vote in Texas. Perry has proven that he is just more of the same; a politician who will warp his ideals to suit the highest bidder. Why am I heartless to stick to my convictions, and to put my country and fellow citizens first?

He ruled out any vote from me tonight with this, border security, HPV and Social Security among his other faltering points; clearly controlled by strings of lobbyist puppet masters.

This is so creepy and fundamentally wrong. What year is it now? 1984? Obama creeps me out. He and Spooky Dude need to relocate to China….or North Korea. Ooops….guess you all better report me now.

“Conservative,” you are absolutely right. Those calling for genocide are equally as bad as any terrorist, and should not be condoned or bestowed upon them the name of Christ. However, in regard to the problem I have with you is that you have blatantly criticized and exercised discrimination against Christians who expressed concern for the citizens of New York City at this time. You stated it was “no big deal” if New York was attacked again. We can point fingers all day, but in the end you are wearing the same shoes as those you accuse of bigotry. I have let myself become entrenched in this argument with you, but you nor I will ever see eye to eye on this subject. You are just as wrong for hating me and labeling others like me as “Bible thumping nut jobs,” as I am in labeling you corrupt. In the end, whether you believe in Christ as our Savior is up to you. I would hope that one day you may come to know Him and ask him to be your Savior. He is always waiting. I must apologize for allowing myself to be provoked and defending my Savior and my religious beliefs. We must practice tolerance across the board, not only to those of the Muslim faith, but also to those of the Christian, Jewish or any other given faith. Jesus teaches in John 13: 34-35 that we must love one another. This commandment is key to tolerance and peace.

“Conservative,” it appears as if your efforts in patronizing me are a direct reversal in your personal philosophy. You stated in a previous post that it was “no big deal” that New Yorkers are faced with the possibility of an imminent attack. For one harboring so much anger at those that would impose themselves and their beliefs on others, you seem quite complacent in regard to yet another attack on American citizens at the hands of Muslim extremists. I am a veteran, and my husband is active duty military with two tours in the Middle East under his belt. Our family has sacrificed more for this country than you and your corrupt ideology would ever imagine taking upon yourself. I suggest you put your money where your mouth is; shut your trap, get off your liberal fanny and move to France if you think our country is so unjust. Heck, move to Iran or Afghanistan if you love Muslim extremeness so much. In case you have forgotten your history, our country was founded upon creationist principles; that all men are created equal in the sight of God, and that most importantly, in God we trust.

“Conservative,” I feel sorry for you that occurrences in your personal life have caused you to act in such a vile and insensitive manner. You are wrong. I nor any “Bible-thumping, religious nut balls” I associate with would never make such comments to an atheist or agnostic. I would hope that any person who takes upon them the name of Christ would act similarly. In fact, I bet most Christians would act completely contrary to what you have described, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven,” (Matthew 5:16).

Firstly, how do you derive that we are “religious nut balls” because we have faith in our Lord and in our God? Apparently, you have faith in your convictions. It would by hypocritical to assume others are “nut balls,” because of their respective faith. Secondly, how can you accept another attack on our great country and its citizens; claiming it as “no big deal?” Did you experience some trauma as a child which prohibited the activation of neural pathways in your brain associated with conscience? See phallic fixation.
