  “We did away with machine guns because of how they’re used”??? Talk about a single false statement which begs many questions. Too bad the press didn’t call her on that whopper.

  No one ‘did away with machine guns’, the correct term for which is ‘fully automatic rifle’ or ‘assault rifle’. If one can meet the federal licensing criteria and it is legal to own one in one’s home state, one can own one.

  As to how they’re used? Talk about giving oneself away. Exactly how are they used? When was the last time you heard of a lawfully owned full auto rifle being misused?

  During the 1920s, chicongo mobster Al Capone and his thugs misused ‘machine guns’, which FDR used as phony pretext to ‘ban’ them, as ‘first step’ to a total gun ban.

  Prior to capone, anyone, man, woman, or child could purchase a full-auto Thomspon and no one misused them.

  Elbows on table would have earned us a reprimand from grade school teachers. Making a habit of it would have meant expusion from the dining room.

  Eating down in the dish in manner of some gangster was something we were taught not to do long prior to entering kindergarten.

  Eye-rolling is a nice touch, reminiscent of the way in which grade school brats behave when told to eat something they don’t like, or told to quit eating like a pig.

  Awful. And the ramifications spill over into every single arena, that’s why we were taught to behave as civilized human beings while eating. Slovenly, resentful, irksome, pig-ignorant behavior translates to many other areas well beyond the confines of the dining hall, just as do good manners and respect for others.

  It’s easy to see why this one claimed not to have been proud of their country for so long: in projective manner they were expressing shame for their conduct, on display here in all its ingloriousness.

  So, this is what Princeton churns out? Remarkable.
