  If I remember correctly, things in this country were pretty tense after Kent State massacre……also seems to me that if folks don’t like the second amendment, they can go thru proper procedures and change it……meanwhile, I am of the opinion that a lot of innocent lives are saved by having an armed population

  Most distressing. I think the cops are way off base here. I hope the Gentleman takes action against the police in the way of a civil suit seeking money damages for emotional pain inflicted on the Vet and his son and violation of his constitutional rights…should be an Attorney somewhere that will take the case pro bono or subject to a judgment in the Vet’s favor.
