If you have a CCL you can do that now, but you have to be in your home state. I seldom carry, but I have a license for that reason, I get to skip the background check.

Federal Court Finds No Constitutional Right to Carry a Concealed Weapon — We Explain The Decision
February 25, 2013 at 4:11pm
This probably should have been argued under article IV which states:
Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof.
California Police Chief: ‘A Gun Is Not a Defensive Weapon — That Is a Myth’
February 15, 2013 at 9:47am
If the purpose of a gun is to intimidate and show power, why do those of us who carry one go to such lengths to conceal our weapon? Whether a gun is offensive or defensive depends on who’s hand it’s in and what the situation is.

Andrew Sullivan: If Romney Wins Virginia, Florida, the ‘Confederacy’ Is Back
October 28, 2012 at 11:25pm
Obama’s problem in NC and VA is he isn’t getting 98% of the black vote this time. Because of his support for gay marriage and abortion, polling ( here in Georgia) is showing he will “only” get about 80-85% this time and many will just stay home.
Romney Roasts Obama, Media at Annual Al Smith Dinner: ‘So Little Time, So Much to Redistribute’

In the first picture I believe that’s Roger Ailes ( founder of Fox News) between Obama and Romney, Maria Bartaromo ( CNBC) over Romney’s left shoulder and Ken Langone ( Home Depot financier) seated in front of Ann Romney.
I can’t make out any one else.
Obama During Debate: There’s Enough ‘Pipeline to Wrap Around the Earth Once’ — True?
October 17, 2012 at 12:37am
Hydrocarbon pipelines ( Crude oil, refined product, natural gas and natural gas liquids), but he had nothing to do with it. Only pipelines that cross international borders need federal approval.
You have men like Richard Kinder and the late Dan Duncan to thank for those pipelines, not Obama and not the government.
This is a map of North American Pipelines

Red lines are Natural Gas, Green lines are crude oil, Blue lines are refined product ( Gasoline, Diesel and jet fuel)

You know in the Batman stories, Bruce Wayne is a very rich man.In the Legend of Zorro, Don Diego is the son of a wealthy man who’s alter ego battles corrupt government officials in Old California. Even Robin Hood is a nobleman who battles the evil sheriff who over taxes the common people.
It’s not at all unusual for a wealthy man to be the hero!
