Anyone ever read Heaven and Hell by Immaneul Swedenborg? A very intriguing explanation of both with many seemingly sound logical answers.

Is it any wonder the morons in DC get re elected time and time again? Proof positive that our education system is pathetic.

Our Father, Creator of all things, we the people of the United States of America come before You, heads bowed, knees bent, contrite. We have become like the builders of Babel and have lost our fear and reverence that are due You. We have violated each of Your commandments and in our arrogance have sought to justify our actions. We humbly beg Your forgiveness for our transgressions. We seek Your guidance and protection from the evil which infests this world we live in. We pray for the strength to resist it and the courage to follow Your Word. In the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Obviously, Big Al-Fawzan is in a competition with the bat eared wunderkind American leader as to who can tell the most outrageous lie with a straight face. Keep tuned in folks, I bet it will get even better!

Don’t know if this will get posted but Vienna or Wien auf Deutsche is a most beautiful city. It is over ninety percent white and ninety percent Christian. It has fabulous food, great regional wines, a transit system that makes ours embarrassing to say the least. Music and dancing are revered. In Austria, hunting for fun and pleasure are among the most common forms of recreation. There are gun stores, even in downtown shopping areas. There is a saying that Austrians don’t sleep at night, they’re all busy sweeping the woods and cleaning the streets. The people are friendly and if you go there, you don’t even have to speak Austrian. Most of them speak English because it is taught in all schools and don’t tell that guy in DC but German is the mother tongue of the Viennese. If I had to live in Europe, it would certainly be my choice. If I had to live in a big city it would certainly be my choice

You nailed it CGB. It’s too bad too. When I see or hear of some “underprivileged” person with an MBA from an Ivy League school or on some fast track CEO pace, it’s tough not to wonder if their success is legit.

What exactly is a liberal? So I went to the dictionary and got the following definitions:
    Liberal
    1) Adj. Of a free heart Free to give or bestow, generous.
    2) Adj. Generous or ample as in a donation
    3) Adj. Not selfish, narrow or bigoted or contracted, catholic, embracing other interests than one’s own.
    4) N One who advocates greater freedom of thought or action

    Then I checked another dictionary.
    Liberal
    1) Adj. Favorable to progress or reform as in political or religious affairs.
    2) Adj. Advocating liberalism, the freedom of the individual and governmental guarantees of individual rights and liberties.
    3) Adj. Favorable to maximum individual freedom, especially as guaranteed by law and secured by governmental protection

Notice the difference in the definitions. The definitions are not only dramatically different. If you take note, the second set of definitions are not only different but contradictory within themselves. Let me explain. If you believe something, fine. If you are open to embracing other interests, fine, but if you are “favorable to progress and reform” than you can not be liberal because by advocating reform you are in fact suppressing liberalism. If Liberalism is freedom of heart, though or action, then to subject it to reform, governmental guarantees, laws or government protection are all anti-liberal actions.
So how do we reconcile the very different definitions above? The first set come from a Webster’s dictionary printed in 1913.

And yet l read constantly and hear about the economic recovery since 2008. Not in my economy. Profits down costs skyrocketing and a quality of life that has dropped substantially. The money thats being made by banks politicians and lobbyists doesn’t drive an economy people working and consuming do. Just because Facebook is worth a zillion dollars doesn’t mean this economy is growing. Its a lot of hot air.

Nah. How could you be so jaded? I bet you even believe obama is stinky smelly sack of steaming pig dung.

Find it hard to believe Lancaster PA is so far down on the list with the heavy population of Amish and Mennonites, must be a backlash from the pols in nearby Harrisburg.

I have always said abortion is not the problem it is the solution. The problem is unwanted pregnancies. But how much effort by either pro life or pro choice advocates is put out. The biggest mass murderer organization is planned parenthood but how often yo you hear the percentage of adoptions versus abortions they are responsible for.

I think you would have seen the same reaction from the media and elites if someone had suggested a similar solution to end Hitler Stalin or Mao Zedong lives because of their violation of the rights of their countrymen. Obama is a narcisstic megalomaniac who hates this country and people of all color who disagree with him

Ozzie and Harriet? Father knows best? Leave it to beaver? The Cosby show? Maybe funny but not stupid
They all taught lessons of life in a positive way. as long as they keep sermons in the church and beer in the pub who knows. Stupid? Remember Mr. Ed or my mother the car?

Better yet, how about sending this “writer” to Afghanistan to get the “other side of the story. I bet after two or three weeks of really up close and personal interplay with the *******, she’ll really be able to write a review

I include the bumbler and Mr. new world order as guilty parties. In fact, DDE was probably one of the few honorable men to hold the presidency.

Forget politics oil or power. Think of it as good versus evil. The more America kowtows to muslims and islam the further from Jesus Christ we go. This is not earthly it is spiritual and the “evil ones ” of GWB speak are winning.

If this jughead judge says the cross really has to be removed, I have a suggestion (very unchristian) of a place I’d like to see it inserted.

Meanwhile a Nativity scene is removed at shaw AFB in Charlotte. This is not PC it is DC the devil’s correctness. When we abandon God He abandons us.
