Answer is simple if you learn a bit about the organization. Dogs and to a lesser extent, cats are tainted, ruined, and not a natural part of mother earth because they were domesticated by man. They believe wholeheartedly a dog is better off dead than being a pet.

lol so indignant yet so wrong. Yea there was a band named Blood Sweat and tears, and they took that name from an old saying meaning to sacrifice a lot to get a job done. So absolutely nothing wrong with it’s use in the story. The phrase was around a long time before the band.

George Harrison would have loved this ;)

heh only on The Blaze will comments on an uplifting story about a dog rescue devolve into a name calling shouting match on who is a conservative and who isn’t. Guess what guys, this isn’t about you. I know, hard to wrap your head around, but neither of you are the center of the universe.

Besides that, we have a responsibility to dogs and cats. More so with dogs. We took them out of their natural environment and bred them to be completely dependent on us. Not saying that was a bad thing, on the contrary. But now that it’s done, we can’t just turn our backs on them.

I’m sorry its Hope for Paws. Got that backwards ;)

  • December 14, 2013 at 1:12pm

Paws for Hope is the org. Eldad Hagar is the man who save’s these animals. look him up on utube. All the info you need will be there

  • December 14, 2013 at 12:46pm

Before I even clicked on this vid I guessed it would be Eldad who saved these dogs. He has DOZENS of these videos of dogs, cats and donkeys he has saved. The guy is a saint with a lot of patience. The ones that touch me most are the dogs he can turn around hours before they are to be put down for being dangerous. Just look up Eldad Hagar on Utube and bring your tissues.

Only if you show me the guys who are getting paid through this but don’t pay in one dime

  • July 18, 2013 at 10:38am

This guy does a LOT. He just doesn’t wear his good deeds on his sleeve. I live in Cincinnati and anyone who knows about football rivalry knows I should hate this guy to my very core ;) But I don’t. Troy is one of the reasons I start rooting for the Steelers when the Bengals are inevitably knocked out of the running by week 8 ;) Another is Dick Lebeau

uhhh, That was entirely her whole point! Yeesh, she said the reason the prosecution was so emotional was because they didn’t have the facts or law on their side. She even said she felt it was unethical, so I really don’t see where you’re coming from on this since you lambasted her by saying almost exactly what she said.

ugg I still have nightmares of the 61 world series when he pretty much single handedly crushed my beloved Reds

Hmm, lot of people here usurping God and proclaiming Bono isnt a Christian because ( insert your political issue here) No Christian is perfect, only forgiven. Did Peter and Paul call each other non Christian when they disagreed? And yea they had some major disagreements on doctrine. People take that one scripture “you can judge them by their works” and use that as a liscence to decide who can get to heaven. Frankly, thats not your place, unless you plan on forming a cult and folowing Bono because you believe he is a prophet or something. Do what the scriptures tell you to do if you feel he is erring in part of his Christian faith. Pray for him, take him aside and try and show him his error then take him to the elders in private and try and talk it out respectfully. (admittedly those last two are tough to do in this case, but not impossible to at least maybe talk to him with todays tech) I’m not hating, just warning a little bit. God takes umbrage when someone tries to step in and decide who belongs to HIm and who doesnt.

Not that tough to answer, just look at the way Christ treated his accusers. He didnt return anger for anger. Like it or not, God loves athiests agnostics and muslims as much as he loves you and He would save them in a hearbeat if they would genuinely call on Him to save them. To pick out ANY person that ever lived and say he couldnt be saved is saying God isnt big enough for the job. Heck, even in the Old Testement. Look to the angels themselves. Whenever one of them discussed Satan with God, not one word of disrespect was uttered against him. Jesus wasnt kidding hen he said do good to those that revile you.

Man doesnt sound to me like he is “doing his way to heaven” He obviously has the faith part down. He proclaimes with no hesitation Jesus is the Christ. Now that said, We are to judge them by their works. You dont become a Christian then sit back secure that your faith has saved you. when you become a Christian you are fundementally changed and the love of Christ in you cant help but come out and not let you stand by and do nothing for your fellow man. Was Mother Theresa “doing her way to heaven?” Too many people are quick to judge people for “doing their way to heaven” when they have no idea of the faith of the man but just look at his good works and try and blow them off.

Couldnt be more wrong man. The British Commonwealth is overwhelmingly Athiest/agnostic and are very dismissive of Chritianity. I watch a LOT of British tv from talk shows to game shows to situation comedy and dramas and they constantly redicule Christianity and they redicule this country constantly because of believers here. I noticed a trend a few years ago where Bono started becoming the butt of viscious jokes on British tv more and more. Now I guess I know why.

When I was 16 I had a job some 25 miles away that I hitchicked to every weekend. I was hichhicking on the freeway wich was illegal. A State trooper pulled over and asked me my name and what I was doing. When I told him, he told me to hop in and gave me a lift. The whole time he lectured me on the dangers of hitchhicking, but I was a dumb kid and knew better ;) When he got to the end of his jurisdiction, he had radioed ahead and a local cop was waiting there to take me the rest of the way to work That’s just one of many run ins I’ve had with very decent men who happened to be cops. But yea, they arent the same beast any more.

Couldnt be more wrong. Putin is a douche but he’s been right on the middle east “Arab Spring” thing from the beginning. While the Obama Administration foolishly lauds how it’s all about democracy, Putin said from the very beginning its all about destabilizing the region and creating vacuums in power where the more radical factions can step in and take over. Putin has decent relations with Iran so in proxy, with Syria also. And he said it’s like holding tiger by the tail, but better the tail than the teeth. Putin doesnt care if Israel lasts forever or is gone tomorrow. They dont care if the middle east is ruled by despots or angelic elected officials. They only care about the flow of oil they are completely dependent on and the over 20 million muslims inside it’s borders. This is Putin’s back yard. He isnt fooled by “moderates” who declare they only want peace. He doesnt have muslim brotherhood activists inside his administration “advising” him on muslim relations. So yeah, that tension is very real and I think this could escalate fast if Putin feels Russian interests ar threatened.

Heh, your name is so ironic when you say things like that. One of the reasons the forefathers thought our style of gov might just work was that churches and the average Joe would take care of their fellow citezens through works of charity, leaving the government out of it. After all, the way government historicly got more and more power was by first providing a service to “the less fortunate”. then adding very intrusive strings to them. The General Wellfair” ring a bell? Hell, some cities you cant walk down a street and smoke a cigarette because your second hand smoke “costs all Americans.”
So yea, hats off to those kids, but I wonder when some snotty little pencil pusher will shut them or the shelter down for not having the right permits
