You are if you are not in your residence, or car. Thats the problem. We have Castle Doctrine for those certain areas….not just lawfully walking around. If you are not in those places, you have to try to first find duty to retreat, if you can do so safely. There is a bill floating around (Bill 203) that has provisions for “stand your ground”, but I don’t think that is close to becoming law any time soon.

There is no such thing as a “hate crime”. It’s either a crime or it isn’t. Hate crime legislation is the govt telling people what they should think, feel, believe, which is total BS! We “supposedly” have the right in this country to think, feel, believe what we want no matter what others think. Hate crimes are intended to stifle free thought and speech. Pretty damn scary when you think about it.

It’s my goal to make telemarketers/scammers (mostly one and the same) hang up. I start asking them questions until they can’t stand it anymore and all of the sudden….click….LOL
Police whistle next to phone.
Wait for live operator.
Say "Congratulations! You are my third 'final offer' today."
Blow whistle into phone. loudly.
I think I have deafened half the population of "Consumer Services."
But they keep calling...

Oh I hate the cameras too. Not that I speed or run red lights but it’s all to bring money to the Dayton City govt. BTW it’s been led by Dems or one useless independant in Gary someone who did nothing, since Mike Turner was mayor here. Turner managed to clean up the city somewhat but his work has been destroyed since by the Dems. Dayton actually has to offer a verbal exam for firefighting jobs because the minorities couldn’t read. Do you want someone trying to save your life/belongings who can’t even read? This was mandated by the federal govt, imagine that.

Dayton itself is a true shathole. The suburban cities surrounding it are the only halfway decent places to live. If the Dayton PD wasn’t so PC it might be able to fight the crime in Dayton. I live in a city that abuts on Dayton and when the crime started drifting over into our city of Riverside I armed up. Dayton is such a POS that the criminals don’t steal much in Dayton because there’s not much to steal. This Dayton can lay right at Bill Clinton’s feet because once he signed NAFTA the last of the GM plants in Dayton closed down. Trust me,the unions had their part in the death of GM in Dayton Ohio but NAFTA sealed the deal. Pisses me off because I work in Dayton and pay Dayton city taxes but since I don’t live in Dayton I can’t vote on any of their issues in elections which is BS. Kills me to give them my hard earned money and not be able to vote on things that will affect me. Anyway these blimps are BS. Notice they said they “limited it to one pixel per person” Is anyone else smart enough to realize that if they are “limiting it” that means they can take pics at far higher resolutions and who will ever know it? I’ve been taught a .22 bullet will travel a mile so I’m thinking half a mile isn’t that hard of a shot.

Apparently I can’t speak my mind because I’ve made someone at The Blaze unhappy with my posts.
The club grows daily Percpective, bumpy ride ahead but we will prevail!

I’ve lived in Ohio all my life and signing the form is the biggest joke ever. Everyone involved knows the fireworks are going to be set off in Ohio you just can’t say so. I’ll be heading to the store today or tomorrow for some nice mortar shells and they will definitely be set off in Ohio lol.
I’d take my chances with any jury in the land if someone was doing this to my kid. Always remember the first thing you say to LEO is “I was in fear for my life”

I’ve had mine deleted and kinda agree. I shouldn’t have said one phrase but still stand behind my argument lol

He’ll get off with a slap on the wrist. My personal belief is that there is no such thing as a hate crime. It’s either a crime or it isn’t. Hate crimes are an attempt to legislate how people think. How many black people have been charged with a hate crime? I’ll go out on a limb and say not many if any. Hate crimes are how the govt forces you into certain beliefs. Hate crime legislation is unconstitutional because it stifles free speech. Just my opinion and we all know about those.

Damn Skippy Mr Monk! A good friend of mine who has had a stroke and his left side is crudely functional has a holster mounted on the right side of his computer desk with a six shooter loaded with hollow points. He may be a cranky arse gimp (a personal joke between he and I) but pity the fool who breaks in thinking they have an easy mark because they’re probably going to roll down the stairs in critical condition. BTW…I gave him the hollow points…..when you care enough to send the very best!

Pray tell….who are these candidates who can actually make a difference and have as their conviction the welfare of the American people. In my eyes I count that list on one hand and it doesn’t take all 5 fingers.
Cruz, Paul, Walker (when he commits as we all know he will), 2nd tier Carson, Rubio, Fiorina,
Jindal would except no one knows him at this point with so many candidates will be difficult to get traction. Bush/Huckabee/Graham a bunch of progressives that wouldn't stop our slide, they would simply slow it down.
Trump - a wild card, but I still don't believe he is serious or will be taken seriously by most voters, especially the conservative base. Too much about birth certificates (which was started by the Clinton campaign, but thanks to trump, birthers are now blamed on conservatives).
As CEO of a corporation he can absolutely dictate to his employees, with checks and balances between co-equal branches of government, I find it very unlikely his methods will work.
But in reality, I don't think he is serious, I think it is more publicity for whatever project he has coming next. As I said before he is great at generating PR, but I doubt very much he will follow this all the way through or that voters, especially conservative voters will take him seriously.

Bear in mind at first this paper said they would print NO OP-EDS against gay marriage. Then softened their stance(most likely due to advertising customers complaints).

They seek to silence dissent. Pat68 said “That doesn’t mean a newspaper has to publish every letter some nut job sends them, especially if the content of that letter pulls into question an existing law. ” I bet this paper printed quite a few op-eds favoring gay marriage when existing laws were against it don’t you? I personally don’t care but it’s so funny that folks who scream so loudly for others to accept and respect their ideas and beliefs are so hatefully intolerant of other peoples ideas and beliefs. Hopefully you can see the hypocrisy in that but I kind of think you won’t.
