Yes, yes, yes. Time to get the ”government’s reach” out of the Church via the ‘tax-exempt status’.

Pay taxes as Peter and Christ did, and show the government the door before they start mandating how many atheists we must allow in ministerial roles to be ”compliant”; and how many openly-gay scouts must be promoted to VBS ‘flag bearers’ during the summer. The Church cannot serve God and Mammon.

Any church that will continue to charter a troop after this vote is not adhering to scripture in Matt 10, “I am sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as snakes and as innocent as doves.”

How stupid would a Board of Elders, Deacons’ Boards or Executive.Councils have to be to invite this kind of trouble in the front door and usher it to the front pew? … too stupid to keep their church doors open. Church leaderships cannot ‘embrace’ this change without risking the same lawsuits that have rocked the BSA before. This is just an ”accident going somewhere to happen”. The tenets of the BSA oath that welcomed churches, “morally straight and duty to God”, was ‘voted out’. They all just need to pack up their kids and gear, and move them over to another Christ-centered club already standing – ‘ready, willing and able’ with no legal/structural ambiguity, and just let the homosexuals have the BSA, ‘lock, stock and barrel’. There isn’t any sense in crying about it – they just need to go on and do what they know they have to do. Sometimes we can only walk or go so far with with the outside world before we have to separate ourselves. The NT even reinforces an OT script for such an instance as this; no pastor/church need wait for a sign, of some pillar of cloud by day or fire by night, its already clear: 2 Corinthians 6:16,17:

But imagine the famous Norman Rockwell painting of the family sitting down for dinner called, “Freedom from Want”. That is a snapshot of why these immoral, liberal, Craig’s List posters are so uncomfortable, and now ‘want out’. I have not been thru this little town in years, but if liberals moved there and now want out I am glad to regard that fact as a praise report to Almighty God. Not enough corrupt and morally bankrupt folks for these liberals. Not enough left-leaning, attitudes and ideologies could get ‘rooted in’ there like ‘cockroaches nesting in the walls’ for the ”libs” to feel at home,….so say a ‘hallelujah’ for that.. SC voters preferred to elect a professed ‘Adulterer’, (M. Sanford), last week, than a democrat opponent. I asked my Great Aunt Josie who voted last week why, and she said, “An Adulterer stands a chance at being rehabilitated, whereas a Reprobate does not.”

So good riddance, you ‘Craigslist posters’, those folks are glad you’re gone, sorry you stayed so long. Most were too decent to tell you, on account of that Southern Hospitality thing and all.

My extended family lived 8 miles from this little town of Greer. The residents there are nation-loving, ”salt of the earth folks”, church-going people. Are they perfect people? no. But they get along by neighbors respecting one another and minding one’s own business. Is the little town of Greer free from crime?… no, absolutely not. What town or hamlet is?
