What part of “Shall NOT Be Infringed” do people fail to understand?

2.encroach on somebody’s rights or property: to take over land, rights, privileges, or activities that belong to somebody else, especially in a minor or gradual way

To require a license to buy a weapon is an infringement;
To require registration of weapons is an infringement;
To limit weapons by type is an infringement;

In fact the spirit of the Second Amendment is that We the People be armed as equally as our government as the LAST check and balance when the system of checks and balances in the Constitution are ignored like they are today. IT’S NOT ABOUT HUNTING PEOPLE! IT’S ABOUT THE PRESERVATION OF THE REPUBLIC, OUR LIBERTY, AND OUR FREEDOM!

Anyone who fails to understand that should probably move off shore before the Marxist idiots in charge start the revolution that they so deeply desire… because they are going to get what they wish for by hook or by crook; there’s enough of them in power now, and they’re just arrogant enough to think that they have the upper hand.

@Cafeconservative: I moved to Utah from the Mid Atlantic region last year because I grew tired of the progressive destruction of both my state and my rights. Utah is about 63% Mormon, and they hold a lot of seats in government. They are community minded and survivalists. They aslo have a history of standing against the government when it tries to intrude upon their business.

However as for the non-Mormon folks I have heard rhumors that it can be hard to get a job if you aren’t a part of the church. I’m retired so I don’t know for sure, but I’ll tell you this is the best decision I have ever made! Every sherrif in Utah save one signed a letter to Obama stating that they would not support Unconstitutional gun control. That one sherrif is the sherrif of Salt Lake County, the state’s liberal stronghold. I live hundreds of miles south of there and folks around here are pretty conservative. It would seem that outside of the Salt Lake area the LDS Church keeps the liberals at bay…

This same sort of thing happened when I lived in Montana, and is happening now here in Utah. Liberals are moving here in droves to escape the madness in the Peoples Democratic Republic of California, and what’s the first thing they do? Set about to make the place just like the place they left when they couldn’t stand it any longer!

Some folks just cannot grasp the concept of Liberty and Freedom; they would not last a day without their government wet nurse! It makes me wonder then why would they move to a state like Utah or Wyoming? Folks in these parts have been raised to do for themselves and are fiercely independant. Didn’t they do any research? When I move to a different state I spend a good bit of time researching it to insure that I am not moving to someplace incompatible with my views. This gal must have seen a postcard of Wyoming and thought it would be a nice place for a liberal to live. I guess she knows better now!

It’s all fear tactics for the grand charade. It is easier to control an ignorant and fearful populous than it is to control an informed and prepared one. None of this matters in the big picture, because the truth is that government spending is unsustainable. At the beginning of the year we were borrowing 46 cents of every dollar we spend. The FED is running the printing presses 24/7. The Executive Branch thinks it can spend it’s way to prosperity. The DHS is buying billions of bullets, and the police and military are purging their ranks. Ever heard of the Wymar Republic? Keiser Wilhelm thought that he could print his way out of debt. In just a few short years the cost of a loaf of bread went from a couple of Marks to BILLIONS of Marks. Hmmm… Sequester? Nah… economic collapse is more like it, and none of this will matter. Check out the DHS Operation Thunderdome if you want something to worry about….

Let’s see… the FBI trains and equips a bomber on the west coast and is hearalded as heros when they bust him. They train and equip the Times Square bomber and are hearalded as heros. Now they equip and bust this Morracan and they are yet again heros. Does anyone else here see a disturbing trend? True, they arrested people who wished to do Americans harm, but not so long ago this would have been called “entrapment” and thrown out of court.

How long to you suppose it will be before they are slipping turkey and cheese sandwiches into your kids lunch and arresting you for child abuse? Wake the hell up America and connect the dots!
