  • I suggest an ad campaign titled, “The definition of insanity is voting for the same person expecting different results… Don’t be insane!”

  • Makes you wonder if the president has been reading ted kaczynski’s work.

“The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.”
1 Corinthians 2:13-15. Those that foolishly see the world but don’t see God place their faith in nothing more than soap bubbles–emptiness.

  • Shurmus, your post reminded me of the “gun return” events by several cities. Who would you think is ignorant enough to give their weapons to the government?

  • I find it interesting that the media take this as “gotcha”…speaking honestly either in public or in private. Why is it a given that politicians speak out of both side of their mouth? Is it because they do? Now, we have a citizen-politician that is as sincere in public as she is in private. What a concept!

  • Smarter…,
You mistyped. You meant to type, “I am neutered”.

  • I am an SEIU member by default. I would rather not. When I told my employer I don’t want to join for conscientious reasons. I was told that I had a choice but the choice was to work somewhere else. It is few and very far between to find an employer in my line of work that is not unionized. I have attempted to divert a portion of my dues to something other than the union but have run into roadblocks. If someone knows the way to divert dues in Washington state, I’d like to know.

I assume that some in the crowd this w/e will have “Stop the Hate” signs. I just hope that Andrew Breitbart is there to interview them.

  • For Jim Wallis, it’s not a matter of the mind; it’s a matter of the heart. He interprets the Bible with his own mind. It may be impossible for him to read scripture via the heart guided by the Holy Spirit. He would never invite the Spirit into his heart that would destroy his theology.

I’m afraid, it is true of Desert Rose as well. Though, she will most likely vehemently deny her inability to discern scripture. I’m certainly not an authority on the Bible. But, I can easily “explain the word of truth” on salvation: Acts 2: 38 “Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 For the promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are far away, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to him.”. or a scripture more readily recognized: John 3:16 -”For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him may not perish but may have eternal life.”

The liberation is complete. How could we be so vain, so self-important to believe that we can add to the work of God.

  • As I read through these comment, I, as is my wont, felt anger towards the school and towards Islam. But, then I thought, doesn’t God move in this world. I certainly won’t say that I know how God moves. But from an historical perspective, God would call His people back by using people such as the Philistines, the Medes, or the Persians. A conquered Israel would eventually repent and return to God.

Is not the Christian nation under seize? I realize that my anger is misplaced. My anger should be inward because we Christians have given satan a void to fill. We have stepped back. Is it not time to repent as a nation and return to God.

More than ever, I believe that God has Glenn’s ear.

Or Prov. 25:2, “It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.”
