Agree with SPFOAM1. If the coroner can actually determine without a doubt that that was the cause, I don’t think time should be a factor. A person can change after that amount of time but you must be responsible for your actions, even the ones in the past from long ago.

I don’t think anybody WANTS to shoot somebody else in defense, but I will protect my family at all costs. Mace is good, taser is good, but I feel the most effective thing is a gun. When a criminal sees a gun being pointed at him/her, that itself is effective. no shots required. And if they decide to be stupid and continue to attack you, then you’re well prepared. Tasers and mace are meant to be used to give you a change to run away but what if you can’t run away? I think people should take the initiative to learn all different kinds of defense but when compared with a gun I think the gun always wins. Do all the round house kicks you want, it wont deflect a bullet.
