  • No, Soda is not the best choice for anyone, but I wouldn’t go as far as to say they are “poisoning” people. I have drank cokes ALL of my life and I’m 59 years old. They (whoever “they” are) have also said that lettuce causes cancer, that coffee was bad for us and many other things, but then turned around a few years later and said oh no, they are good for you. I had to quiit regular cokes, because I’m diabetic, but I still drink at least 2 a day, (Coke Zero’s ) and I’m still going strong. Get off your high horse and let the parents decide for themselves. Don’t slander companies which have been around for many years just because you had a “brainstorm”.

  • While I would not use the “foul language” it is apparent that she used, I agree with everything she said.

  • Please forgive me for continuing my comment, but I couldn’t fit everything I felt that needed to be said in one box. We as Christians have an obligation according to the Word of God to spread His Gospel. To make as many people aware of His Wonderful Love and what He expects of us as possible. The thing is, we also need to be aware of ourselves and the way we do it. We must always remember to do it in love. In a gentle way. “Hitting people over the head” with the Bible will not accomplish anything. we should be gentle and kind, and lead by example. Just the OPPOSITE way of what that preacher was doing. We are “disciples of Christ”. We are to be Christlike-minded. He did not bully people into believing in Him. He was and still is a gentleman. He doesn’t force Himself on anyone, and we shouldn’t either. We should pray for those who are not mindful of what God’s Word says, not judgmental or condemning.

  • As far as the video, I do feel the preacher was right in the sense that homosexuality is an abomination, yet God still loves the person, yet he abhoars the sin of being gay. Just because He loves someone DOES NOT MEAN they will end up in eternity with Him. Sin CANNOT enter into heaven. Those who sin MUST REPENT (TURN AWAY FROM their sin, change their lifestyle) and turn toward God). His Word also says to be saved we must be Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and we SHALL receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:38). The preacher was wrong in the way he confronted this man. He was judging him, condemning him. That is NOT what God wants us to do. That is not OUR role here on earth. Even Jesus said He didn’t come to condemn, but to save. What gives us as humans the right to do what even Jesus didn’t do? We are to spread God’s Word in LOVE, not criticism. So, while I do not approve and I know that God does not approve of the Gay lifestyle, all we are suppose to do is GUIDE them to the scripture for example1 Timothy 1:9-11
New International Version (NIV) which states 9 We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10 for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11 that conforms to the gospel

  • Turokhan, I will definitely keep you in my prayers, that God will forgive you and open your heart to Him. The Bible is not a Fairy Tale. It has everything in it. It is a God Inspired, History, Action, Romance, Crime novel, Sex, Autobiographical all rolled into one. I feel sorry for anyone who doesn’t like to read it. Try it, you might like it if you would give it a chance, or are you afraid it might win you over?

  • Hey Max! It doesn’t matter whether it’s western mindset, eastern mindset or what. We are ALL GOD’s creation, and if we LOVE HIM enough to develop a relationship with HIM we are His CHILDREN. If we pray and ask the Holy Ghost to open our hearts and our minds, God will open our understanding of His Word, no matter where we come from. If You remember correctly, Paul was not a Jew, yet God sent him to preach to the Gentiles, (people who are not Jewish). This tells me that God expects ALL of us to learn His Word according to HIS teaching. The Jewish don’t believe that Christ was resurrected because they only go by the Old Testament, yet we as Christians know different. You shouldn’t be criticizing ANYONE who reads the Word, because you don’t know what kind of relationship they have with God. God should be the one to determine “the mindset” not any human.

  • Obama doesn’t seem to get it. Criminals are like children. If you say they CANNOT have something, they will find a way to get it. He should know this as he has children! My husband who is a wise man told me something one day when we were discussing locking our gate. He said, ” locks just keep “honest people honest”. If a thief wants to get in, he will find a way. The same goes for guns!

  • I’m not saying this just because of California Democrats, I’m saying this to all of those who think that putting something on paper or into “law” is going to help. I don’t care how many laws you have against guns. If people want them bad enough, they can find ways to get them. It seems to me the more laws you make you are only hurting the people that will obey them, not the ones who they are meant to keep from obtaining them. I do however agree about the assault rifles and such, except the same still applies. Criminals will always find ways to get them.

  • Personally, I think most if not ALL politicians let their rears overload their mouths. I have to say I am conservative Republican all the way, but I will say that Ron Paul was out of line saying something STUPID like that. My husband is a Disabled Vet and suffers from PTSD. Granted it isn’t bad enough that he would go off the deep end and kill someone, although he does take meds for his disorder, but I have to say even I resent that ignorant remark. Politicians need to check out occurrences before they start blasting away about something they don’t have a clue about.

  • That to me is utterly ridiculous! How many “PRAYERS” went up to God for the Safety of these wounded warriors? Our prayers are good but our money isn’t? I bet any of the people who had sons, daughters or spouses in Wars welcomed the prayers of all. Who thinks up these dumb policies? It’s pure politics. That just goes to show how far “down” and how far “left” these Organizations are becoming. It makes me wonder, if a “gay” rights group, or a Satanic Worship group offered money I bet they would accept it. I’m not trying to “start” a “war” with my examples, I’m just saying that they would probably accept money from any other avenue that was opposite of Biblical teaching,
