    John 4:21
God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.
    John1:1
The Word was with God and the Word was God
    John1:14
    and the Word became flesh…

Believers cannot agree on this one elementary truth of God. Is it any wonder they cannot agree on the nature of the Creator of all things?
~~Romans 1:20~~~ For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.

It is difficult to grasp representations in scripture. When scripture uses trees as a representation of men (parse trees throughout scripture), we will begin to understand.
Representations in the works of Christian authors like CS Lewis in his “Space Trilogy” always reminded me of the representations of God-breathed scripture.

    Luke 23:28-31

(Jesus speaking) “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me; weep for yourselves and for your children. For the time will come when you will say, ‘Blessed are the barren women, the wombs that never bore and the breasts that never nursed!’ Then ” ‘they will say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!” ‘
For if men do these things when the tree is green, what will happen when it is dry?”

““This has to be a joke,” he told Fox News on Sunday about his initial reaction. “This cannot be happening in America.”

    _______

Not only is it happening in America, but those with the spirit of anti-Christ are attempting to silence the voices of the Truth of God all over the world. Here is one example from Germany. This beautiful woman of God was led to speak , in the balcony, to the Lutheran Church in Germany. Watch this….because Heidi’s stand for Jesus our Lord and Saviour is absolutely awesome. God bless

    Jeremiah23:36

“For you no longer remember the oracle of the LORD, because every man’s own word will become the oracle, and you have perverted the words of the Living God, the LORD of hosts, our God.”

    edit: created all things

  • October 23, 2014 at 9:18am

    Hi jakataman
God absolutely does work through men. “God works all things to the good for those who love Him.” And “The prayer of a righteous man availeth much”.

But no man can speak anything into existence such as God did when He createl things. Man can take wht God created and then make some absolutely beautiful things..for example…man can take natural resorces like trees and stone and build beautiful buildings…but man cannot create those natural resources on his own.
Man can use the mind that God gave him to do both good and evil things. But when it comes to true miracles like Creation, Life, Resurrection, Eternity…..Man is not God that he could ever do such things.

    Theonlyoracleofman,

“I will not punish your daughters when they play the harlot
Or your brides when they commit adultery,
For the men themselves go apart with harlots
    And offer sacrifices with temple prostitutes;
So the people without understanding are ruined.” ~Hosea4:14

Theonly…..ALL people, who are separated from God, have “gone apart and played the harlot.”

I believe in miracles by the hand of God, not men.

    JGraham,
Yes I know the sign of Jonah is a foreshadowing of the Resurrection. The reason I posted Matt.16:4,6 is because faith should be placed on the Giver of ‘signs’…our heavenly Father.
The Resurrection is the sign our Father gave which is also His promise to all believers….Jesus died and rose again from the dead by the power of God….so that we, too, may also rise.
Paul talks about signs such as speaking in tongues and such. He explains that Without Love, these things are like a clanging cymbol. Love is the most excellent thing.
They will know we are Christians by our love of one another.

Thanks for the post(s) everyone. I know I really like to read articles on theblaze about the Word of God and the comment section.

Do any of these popes/priests/pastors ever consider that the world is changing because it is standing on shifting sand and not The Rock, Jesus our LORD?

  • [77] October 20, 2014 at 10:41am

    The pastor said,

“The world we live in, whether we like it or not, is changing around and about us. … The world’s changing, and we want to stay relevant as a church, so that’s a vexing thing,” he said.
    ___
He is saying the same thing as pope francis.
How about all you “men of God” preach the Truth of God which changeth not…?

Matt.16:4, 6 ~ “An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and a sign will not be given it, except the sign of Jonah.” 6) And Jesus said to them, “watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

    BlazeGlory,
    Good post.
Francis is suggesting that God is opening hearts to homosexuality.
This pope thinks that the catholic church should listen to the culture first, and then change God’s Truth to fit society?
Now God is in need of man to tell HIM what needs to be changed?
    LOL
Francis, God changes not. His Truth changes not. Neither will His Word.

    Tired_Of_Pastels, Sargeking:

There is a “dark agenda”. The NWO is almost ready to be fully implemented. When the world’s population because overwhelmed with all the humanitarian, health, economic crises, and not to mention a spiritual crises, they will cry out to someone, anyone, to DO SOMETHING. And someone will step up to the plate and offer up a solution(s). This has been in the pressure cooker for decades…slowly building thanks to the implementation of the Hegelian Dialectic.
Anyone alive today who has even a tiny bit of faith can see how it is aligning. They can see how current and past events are coming together and God’s scripture has prophesied it all.

Yes there is most definitely a dark agenda. Always remember that Light pushes back the dark. God’s plan of Redemption trumps any darkness that mankind can imagine.

What is alarming to me is that Americans are not getting accurate information. Also, there is no plan in place on the part of these “elite institutions” who are supposed to prepare as best they can for worst case scenarios. Frieden looks, sounds and acts like a deer caught in the headlights, not to mention TSA, and HS.
One way flights can be banned is if the flight crews just walk off the job. Harsh, yes. But the president is too busy fundraising and playing to be bothered by such a humanitarian and health crisis.

The office of the POTUS is vacant. We do not have a president anymore. We do not have anyone to count on anymore at the highest levels of our government. It is the American people who can count on each other in times of trouble…but most importantly, we turn to God.

This is the best article I have read so far that doesn’t pull any punches.

Thank you Riverhounds for giving this young man a happy, positive, uplifting experience.

    to the bullies/abusers
What demented minds and twisted hearts you have cultivated in your young lives. I hope all of you will come to the knowledge that giving joy to another person is more rewarding, personally, than causing pain.
