  These are the men who need to stand their ground. I am sure upstate will support their sheriffs and put them right back in office if the governor can fire them. It’s time we all rally and stand with the officials who are doing the right thing.

  I don’t even know why I clicked on this story. But this looks to be set up to make God look bad. I pray for people like Wolf. You don’t want to mock God, it never turns out well.

  This could have been avoided if the moron that overheard the conversation would have, a. made a judgement call that the boy is not trouble, and b. that this conversation was private and non of their business.
  So now we have a boy who would have been a model citizen with a felony on his record. What if this boy would have had the cure for cancer in his future. Or, pray tell, a cure for AIDS. That’s all over now. We live in a society that is 90% moron. That’s all there is to it.

  I agree. I have often thought, while reading the Bible, that it would make a great movie. There are parts that the visuals would be awesome. Of course the movie wouldn’t be as good as the book. lol

  I’m sorry, I guess I didn’t even think about the lady in the hoodie as a minority. I’m white but I just don’t think in those terms I guess. Wow, what is our world coming to when we are thinking in these terms. I thought this went out with the 60s. They are Americans voting, why can’t we leave it at that?

  The gate is narrow & less traveled. Jesus was not mainstream. The locally controlled church that teaches from scripture and is run by local elders is the church that everyone needs to attend. If we got back to local on everything, including the church, our country would be much better off. The founders knew this.

  LTB, I tend to agree with you but I think this man is trying to say “why keep pushing to oust God from the public square? We’re winning anyway” The problem with that view is that God has already won. We Christians should keep that fact in mind. I guess as a Christian I am really saddened that so many of my friends (and this fellow) are going to experience an eternity of torment if they don’t get right with Him. There are so many of the lost to reach that we should just keep plugging along leading the lost to Jesus and just ignore these people.
