The more attention we give to this clown, the more he feels he is pushing the buttons of the conservatives and bothering us. No one watches Chris Matthews, and no one cares about what he has to say.

The guy who is testifying is smirking the entire time, which tells me that these hearings are for show only, and he needn’t feel any concern about criminal penalties, etc. Given what happened with the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal, and any other scandals which point to progressives and liberals, I am confident that this will all just blow away, with no real repurcussions to the left.

Who in the world cares who the Republicans run in 2016? In the past 10 years, the Republican Party has shifted so far leftward that Republicans by and large now would have been left-wing democrats in the 70′s. A truly conservative, Constitutional-based Republican will never again win a presidential election in our lifetimes, or probably ever. “Rising stars” in the Republican Party are more about preserving the Republican Party than about preserving our Constitutional Republic. No thanks!

8 years of Obama was INTENDED to make it impossible for anything but Democrats to be in power for the foreseeable future. The Republicans had their chance when they had BOTH houses of Congress and the presidency. They did nothing. There is unlikely to be a Republican president for the rest of our lifetimes.
