Cuts in Place, Obama Puts Blame Squarely on Republicans
March 3, 2013 at 4:45am
Total raw government revenue projections can be found here:
http://www.usgovernmentrevenue.com/total_2013USrt_13rs1n
It is increasingly difficult to get facts that are untainted by a political viewpoint. For example, I would never trust “facts” coming directly from the whitehouse. In the same vain the above may not be sufficient.
In any case, my main point is that no amount of revenue will ever satisfy this administration or the current power segments of the democratic or republican parties. Historically speaking that doesn’t bode well for the Republic.
Cuts in Place, Obama Puts Blame Squarely on Republicans
March 2, 2013 at 2:40pm
@meteors my simple math skills being what they are I do note that accoding to your premise the Republicans wanted to close tax loopholes INSTEAD of raising the top rate on high income earners. As we all know the top rate on earns was raised. Actually everyones taxes have gone up and while revenues are at an all time high it is still not enough money and now Obama is coming after the tax loophole money as well. He liked Boehners proposal, but decided to put that on a shelf for future villification use. Republicans lost the game of chicken over tax rate increases, and thought Obama would play FAIR..a word he is so good at throwing around. But now he is coming for the double dip, and wants the tax loophole money as well. All of it is theft in my opinion. There is so much I would like to see the goverrnment NOT do, but I digress.
Just admit that there will never be enough money to fee a corrupt government’s need for ultimate power and control. Just ask Stalin, Mao or any number of other dictators throughout history. One thing they all had in common though is public support. Communist dictators don’t come to power in a vacuum. They all need their shills. America is currently ripe for the picking. Just took 40 years of reverse education.
S.E. Cupp Denies MSNBC ‘Pressured’ Her to Boycott CPAC
March 2, 2013 at 1:56am
@searcher the closed door argument is extremely worn. We all know it doesn’t stay there. That is why we are in this social conundrum contemplating a repetition of history. You want to teach our children that sexual deviance is okay and potentially even preferred. You would appreciate if you could start your brainwashing when they are say 5 years if age, maybe younger. Studies have shown that the younger a child is, the more easily it is to influence their thoughts on social and other issues. In any event just stop with the behind closed door arguments. If you truly left it there (behind closed doors) we wouldn’t be having these convesations in the first place.
S.E. Cupp Pulls Out of CPAC Until Groups Representing Gay Republicans Are Embraced
February 26, 2013 at 8:43pm
@001 so how is it their right to force others to have to legally accept their behavior as normal? How is it their right to silence anyone who disagrees by labeling them bigots, hate groups and all the rest? There is absolutely zero respect from the gay community for a difference of opinion on their lifestyle. They just sue, sue, and sue some more for complete compliance with their agenda. When all they preach is tolerance, it is so completely hypocritical. And not in the least bit funny.
Glad to see SE Cupp is finally coming out as the bigot I always knew she was. What a pathetic attention seeking move.
Beck Explains Why Networks Should Carry TheBlaze
February 26, 2013 at 8:09pm
The new sound bite about how talk radio, (and by extension The Blaze Tv), represent the ultimate “fly swatter.” For the life of me I can’t think of a single fly you have ever actually successfully swatted….hmmmm…no not one…
Now I would potentially start watching TV if there was a wider selection of points of view, but with the constant screens that come up on the Blaze now urging us to simply line your pockets with more money…that is is just going too far in my opinion. You might want to tone it down a bit.
Which 80 Prominent Republicans Just Signed a Legal Brief Proclaiming Gay Marriage Is a Constitutional Right?
February 26, 2013 at 12:09pm
Where is your tolerance for people who hold a different opinion than you @doors? All I see is name calling, intolerance, and derission in every post. Bigotry on display.
It is laughable that there is a whole faction of people who believe this is such a cutting edge social issue. That no other civilizations throughout history have ever come upon this issue. Talk about flat earth society thinking.
I would agree it is a downer how societies just keep repeating the same social crises over and over for thousands of years ad infinitum and therer is no actual (socially based) innovatiion. Could be an argument for why a 2000 year old book is still relevant. Societies and social issues haven’t really changed one bit throughout history. We are simply doomed to perpetual repetition.
Have You Thought About These Counterarguments to Allowing Women in Combat?
February 23, 2013 at 2:53am
To people who say this would easily be solved with birth control…not so fast…What about people who get violently ill ingesting those products. It happens. The are also other consequences, there are major lawsuits right now over birth control that was handed out but not properly tested. Forcing people to take synthetic drugs in order to put them in combat situations is fundamentally wrong. And what happens after three months when the drugs wear off, and you have potentially been taken as a POW?
Women are meant to give life not take it. Celebrate the differences between men and women rather than try to render this a gender neutral world.

@Econ: I am somewhat surprised by your constant condescention and obvious lack of tolerance. Good grief…every comment… I get that under your watch lest we want to suffer being called hateful names we are supposed to surrender our opinions at the door, but that tactic really just amounts to uncivilized bullying. In the short run bullying tactics may be effective at making inroads and forcing change, but in the long run it has proven to be only temporary. History is definitely repeating itself on this one.

It is quite ironic and contradictory @E, that you are attempting to promote individualism, the freedom and liberty to define the world and our lives, through forced collectivism. In one sentence you say we can define the world around us and in the other that the collective has decided the issue and anyone who doesn’t agree is a bigot. What a crack up.
