  I agree. That was in fact the point he was making. People are so quick to jump all over anyone these days.

  I was watching the night he first made the comment after which everyone got their panties in a bunch. It wasn’t HIS claim that it was his perspective that conservatives would merely “thump their Bibles”. He was merely making the point that THOSE ON THE LEFT would always dismiss conservative’s arguments by claiming that they were merely “thumping their Bibles”. Meaning it is their term which they are always throwing out, not his.

  Thank you. It doesn’t take much for a good mans will to become shaken and for that good man to fall. Even if he states that he will not consider voting for a plan that includes ANY kind of amnesty until after first sealing the borders, it is still a consideration of amnesty. I, my family, my friends and colleagues are all expected to obey U.S. law as citizens. If ever illegally present, non-citizens are rewarded with that very thing which they have attempted to steal there becomes a double standard. Citizens punished for not obeying the U.S. laws, non-citizens rewarded for the same. Why is it that the dangers and ramifications of propagating such a double standard seem to be so hard for politicians to understand? Amnesty for illegal activity must never be provided or else why should anyone obey US law? They say there are too many hear to deport? I say, then you better get cracking NOW!

  I have no use whatsoever for HOAs despite the arguments in favor of. I do not believe in these little private organizations wielding powers like demagogues in conflict with individuals constitutional rights. They should be illegal as they fundamentally violate the constitution. The problem with the argument of not moving into an area that has an HOA is that even if you find a location to live which does not have one, often you can find yourself in a situation where, after the fact, one is formed in your area whether you agree to it or not.
