  China is the number ONE producer of goods in the world. Their wares are SHIPPED over the worlds oceans. I think that is why they are expanding their naval might.

  Will the US send a naval fleet to intercept a future merchant ship hijacking? With our looming cutbacks, I don’t think so.

  China is moving itself into position to protect their SHIPMENTS.

  After that, time will tell.

  I’m thinking about retiring my ’91 Camry. No major mechanical issues after 350,000 miles.
  Changed timing belts three times and switched A/C type to eco-friendly. Other than regular wearing of brakes and tires and batteries, the car held up fine. 39mpg on the highway with cruise control.

  Reason for retirement? Hurricane Isaac did a number on the body and glass.
