Aww… their graphic designer goofed. It should’ve read, “Keep the Merry (Jesus), drop the myth (Santa).” That is an expensive mistake!

Why is it that whenever someone makes a statement that offends the GLAD, PETA, or Planned Parenthood an apology must be made due to ‘intolerance,’ but when they offend us we’re expected to just tolerate them?

I believe the Bible, true. What I believe about God is not what I painted him to be, but quite the contrary. Not too long ago, I strongly disagreed with many things I believe now, but because of the evidence for God’s existence, Jesus’ resurrection and the reliability of the BIble, I would be a fool to think otherwise.

I have friends who have left gay lifestyles and now have exceptionally happy lives as husbands to women and fathers to children. Science has actually worked against the claim that they “born that way” because genetics cannot predetermine your choices. Sure it may affect desires or thoughts towards things, such as homosexuality, alcoholism, habits, talents, but it is not the desire that is the sin. It is when we live our lives in such a way that we blatantly ignore or go against what God has told us and find our identity in something else; that is called idolatry.

Since we are all guilty of this in one way or another, we all need forgiveness. That forgiveness is found through faith alone in Christ alone.

MCCCMAR, let’s calm down with the words. Though Dan may be an enemy of god, we are to still treat him with love. It is interesting however, that the way Dan talks, it’s almost like he believes in God, he just hates what he thinks of us as being sinners.

I’m not offended by that, but humbled that God would still choose to love me.
