Died? More like imploded.
It’ stunning to see that of 17 candidates — more than half of whom could be considered “establishment” to one degree or another — the field has been whittled down to two men who BOTH are outsiders.
One lives to pleasure himself. The other strives to please God.
And may God help us as we continue forward to election day.
Cruz won Alaska yet when Rubio delegates were released Trump got 3 and Cruz 2. I didn't see any one complaining about that. You have to look into the delegate award system on a state by state basis.
If trump or cruz do not get 1237 on the second ballot, then they are out. Kasich will be the nominee.
If he is the nominee, i will not vote.
I was a delegate in 2000. I was not a bush delegate. You have to be released to vote different in round one.
There is one scenario that works. All the other candidates release their delegates in round one and they go to trump or cruz. No one will know how that goes until the vote is taken.
Simply put....either the Republican Party can accept the peaceful revolution that comes with either Trump or Cruz....OR they can suffer the fate of the dinosaur....
They failed to mention the fact that some delegates are already unbound and haven't been counted yet although their states GOP primary has already been held. For example, Iowa, the first state to caucus still has 7 delegates unallocated according to RealClearPolitics.com. Here's a brief summary of missing delegates.
New Hampshire has 3
Nevada has 2
Oklahoma has 3
Virginia has 3
Colorado still has 37 (until April 9th)
Louisiana has 5
Mississippis has 3
Virgin Islands has 9 (ask someone who knows)
Wyoming has 18
Guam has 8
Illinois has 2
Missouri has 12
North Carolina has 1
American Samoa has 7
Totally unofficial unallocated delegates from reporting states = 120*
*This number reflects about the 5min it took to use my claculator and is not official in any capacity.
If they stop Trump from the nomination, he will still win with people writing in his name on the ballot. The people I know will never vote for Cruz and his globalist, open borders policy.
I will argue the Republican party has been stabbed and is left bleeding in the streets now. Lets say Trump losses and Cruz wins. Trump will more than likely run 3rd party and split the vote. And before someone says he promised not to do that. I can tell you, his track record has said the opposite. The republican party is done. Meaning Killery or Sanders gets it in the general. The one good thing about Sanders. He is old and probably would only do a term. I am a Cruz guy, but the majority Trumpbots will never move to Cruz.
I am a party official in Florida - I can assure you - Yhe party is already dead. The corpse just has not started stinking yet.
Hurry the day!
Defund the GOP!
Precisely. The fact they are even talking about it is killing them.
if the popular voted candidate isn't allowed to run.. it's the end of the country. why have elections the political elite will just put who they want into office. Sounds similar to 1776 doesn't it? Maybe it's time to just erase the mess we're in and start again. This time where the vote counts for something and elected officials actually represent their constituents.
The GOP is dying anyway! They no longer support any principles. Their only over-riding principle now is to compromise their principles! They’re all about maintaining POWER instead. That only guarantees a downward slope toward oblivion, as they compromise more and more with the tyranny of the left!
I propose a name change for the GOP. Let’s call it the Whigpublican Party! They’re headed for the same fate as the Whigs a century and a half ago.
Hard to believe the GOP was teetering on libertarian back in 2012, and now it's gone full authoritarian with Trump in 2016. Who are these people??
pura: The FBI can investigate but the DOJ indicts. That's what my "head" tells me. Loretta Lynch is a sock puppet, political hack for Obama. Next question?
Doesn't she have some medical issues that will keep from running. And will cause her to drop out? .....sure..thats it.
I want her fully exposed before the election as the worthless piece of criminal crap she is and the media to be forced to tell the world.. I don't want her arrested while Obama is in office. He will pardon her.
pura: The run of the mill Democrats will vote for ANY candidate with a "D" behind their name and not even blink between differences. The Super Delegates operate from a cynical platform with their own agenda to hold onto power. At this juncture, Hillary is their pick. Only if she gets a federal indictment for the 14,000 plus broken laws compromising our national security will the pattern change.

Trump sullied lyin teds wife? Oh the horror
 March 24, 2016 at 2:47am
Heidi cruz is a goldmans sachs exec. She was on a counsel that actively pursued a north American union. She is the definition of establishment. Lyin ted is her tool.
That was the straw that swiftly ended my admiration of Cruz. He willingly pursued and married a woman who has influence among the crowd I despise and used her influence to get money from Goldman Sachs to run as a complete outsider to the establishment. Why should I trust this guy. He's just like his brethren in the establishment, only his angle to get power is to portray himself as a true blue man of the people . The establishment is backing him now. Why should I trust this guy?The people who ruined America are now backing him. Why should I trust this guy?
You got all of those lies from "theconservativetreehouse". It is widely known as a rats nest of conspiracy theories and whack-job political opinion. NO REAL EVIDENCE IS PRESENTED THERE!
You believe in aliens and fairies too?
This connection should be addressed by Cruz & his wife. It would go along way in soothing some nerves about his candidacy.
That is a flat out lie! If you truly want to know the truth of exactly what her position was, I'm happy to post it.

No surprise here- Cruz has a long relationship with the bushes.
Exactly! I'll probably (unintentionally) piss of the world with this but if I could I'd instantly repeal every law or anything else that separates these people into "Native Americans" and "Americans" We'd recognize, with full respect and honor, their heritage just like they do but they'd ALL be 100% Americans, PERIOD, all living under the exact same laws that the rest of us do. No special treatment whatsoever just because of their ancestry/heritage.
And yes, I'm well aware of the nasty history concerning the Native American so don't bring this "but we stole their land from them" kinda stuff. It won't matter. Not a single live human today had anything to do with creating that sad history and no one that's alive today actually had to live thru it.
As a matter of fact, these laws concerning the "Native American" that some hold onto for dear life do little to nothing to improve these people's lives, instead, in almost all cases, they make their lives worse....or at least do nothing to improve them.

Cruz is a Republican factional leader whose career has been firmly within the Republican party network. He clerked for two Republican judges. He practiced law in Washington for a law firm well-connected to Republicans on Capitol Hill. He worked for George W. Bush’s presidential campaign, then had two jobs in Washington in the Bush administration. He was then appointed solicitor general of Texas by Rick Perry, who succeeded Bush as the state’s governor.
His wife worked for Goldman Sachs who loaned them millions.
And.. so. Ok. He has worked for people. He has had jobs. His record also speaks for its conservative self. Not what others who have supported him have done.. but what HE has done speaks loudly and clearly.
Yep. Cruz is a Republican.
Cruz also worked for Supreme Court Justice, William Renquist. Cruz knows the law better than any of the Presidential candidates, and especially the Constitution, which he memorized, he is a champion to stop Judicial Tyranny!
Yes puravida and Cruz also took his former boss (Bush) all the way to the Supreme Court and won.. He sticks to his principles, we haven't had anyone like that since Reagan, and that is why are country is going to he!! In a hand bag. It's time we get back to the basics, principles, integrity, and patriotism.
Fair enough. How much money has Cruz donated to the most leftist progressives this nation has ever seen?

Soros and Beck sitting in a tree…..K.i.s.s.i.n.g.
First coMes love….

Regardless, beck and soros are on the same side now as actively working against trump.

If trump wins this he will be assasinated. Too many super powerful people see him as a threat. Ask jfk what happens when you threaten the puppet masters.
56 : For the past 8 years, the Far Left , using their Lap Dog MSM outlets , has been quite satisfied with CHARACTER assassinating every potential Republican candidate . Am sure you've noticed.
I have been thinking the same thing. Their power will be gone. Will they do it?
This is why your best protection is the VP. Nobody wanted Quayle, Gore, Cheney or Biden to be the president.
Kennedy had Johnson. Johnson was a legitimate presidential possibility. Reagan had HW Bush. Both of these VP's actually did become president.
Say what you will, but Obama made a great choice in Biden. If he had chosen Hillary, something may have happened.
That is why I am looking for President Trump to pick a Kasich, Rubio or someone like that. Allen West would be an outstanding pick.It will be "outside the box". In addition, a lot more endorsements will be coming after the Arizona win and Trump has an incredible April in the Northeast.
This is also why Hillary will not pick Bernie or Warren. Look for a senator from a swing state, like Brown in Ohio.
Many of us are worried for him. That's why we pray protection over him every day. Look at the Clinton's murderous record. Unfortunately I don't believe EITHER side is beneath it. What has happened to our Gov?
That or an attempt, or threats/attempt on family.
I have to agree. I wasn’t in Trumps camp but I’m rethinking my position. Why is the establishment so threatened by trump? Why are they willing to blow up the party to keep him out? The following helped shed some light. I’m still thinking about what to do as I have time. My primary isn’t till May.
March 20, 2016 at 10:10am
Cruz’s wif is a holdman sachs exec who proposes a united north american union. Beware the wolf in sheeps clothing.
 March 20, 2016 at 10:07am
Exactly. I am feeling myself drawn from cruz to trump because of things like the private meeting on the island, the unfair media portrayal of his protestors…..and if course glen becks obsession
