  My heart hurts at this lady’s tremendous loss and the love I feel in her voice. My heart hurts that our president has not uttered a word about this wonderful man or his family……..sure it’s much more important to call a basketball player who comes out as gay. What an achievement that is! Don’t worry, Mrs. Kyle, we American patriots will always remember your husband and the other SEALS who were lost in accidents after fighting heavy missions for our country. I can imagine them getting together as angels, smiling at the way Americans took their country back from the evildoers that are here to destroy the greatest country in the world. May God Bless!

  JustMeHere_01. You’re just so deep none of us commoners can see what you see. Every direction you look it’s obvious that religion is being pushed out – but not all religion, just the Christian word. You say we should know the ACLU wouldn’t let that happen. hahahaha. The ACLU will fight all year for Muslim rights, but not for Christian rights. Schools send kids home for wearing anything that might appear Christian but Muslims are given special rooms for their many prayer times. Did you not see the Democratic Convention? They did not include God and when there was an objection, there was a vote whether or not they should include God….which was overwhelmingly “NO”. Pay attention and then what you write might be a bit more accurate. Don’t you get tired of trying to look at life with your head up you rump?

  This administration has lied so much about this Boston issue that they are tripping over each others lies.
  One tells us the Saudi has burns from the bomb on his hands & will be held for questioning. A half hour later Homeland Security tells us there is no one being questioned. We hear the Saudi is being deported and another half hour he is not. Now no one seems to know where he is. I’ve read other stories that tell us this ‘Saudi’ being held as a person of interest is one of the sons of Bin Laden. Later I get several comments telling me Bin Laden has many sons in our country. One of whom recently married a white American woman. Now, the mother of the Chechnen accused bomber claims her eldest son has been involved with the FBI for the past five years. That these two should never have been admitted to this country because our government was warned about their terrorist activities…….This is all insane. But I have decided that all those bullets and other military supplies that no one in government would talk about, was probably so they could practice on situations like this one – the end result of course would be to declare Martial law just as they’ve wanted for the past five years! They take our weapons, our privacy, our freedom of speech and then put us on lockdown. Does anyone think they are not going to enslave or murder us? All liberals hand should be first in line since you refused to hear or believe what was right in front of us.

  That would be fun for a couple weeks vacation but I would get cabin fever after that. If you have other couples to play cards or share a meal with now & then it would help. People really do need each other, even though there are times we wish we could withdraw from society entirely.

  We are Americans and don’t all believe in the Bible – even though Christianity has played a big part in many of our lives. I believe in God – there is only one – and a thousand perceptions of who it is. I’ve noticed the hard core Christians quote the Bible when it seems to fall on their side of an issue, and ignore it when it’s convenient in their lives. Let’s face it, the Bible tells us men and women should never work together (in the fields); that women should never cut their hair; we should never eat anything from the sea that doesn’t have gills;……….Do all these ‘true’ biblical followers follow these rules or do they only know that homosexuality is a sin? Is Polygamy a sin? It seems that in the Bible many men had several wives…… I guess this all comes down to:
  “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

  I agree with Meagan that Bill has been a strong supporter of Religious rights and many other Conservative issues so there was really no reason to jump on him for calling BibleThumpers just what they’ve always been called. Some people love the Bible and seem to believe whatever anyone else believes in is answered in the Bible, regardless that they have said the Bible is not where they get their spirituality. That’s just dumb. We aren’t robots and don’t all believe the same way. If we have conscience and compassion, we know right from wrong. We don’t need the Bible to tell us that.
  I think we’re all so angry at Obama’s exclusion of all that we have known and loved in America, we’re on edge about all reporters and weigh their words too heavily, often taking it out on someone who is really on our side. I’ll bet Obama gets a big kick out of that!

  As dumb as Jesse sounds here, he has some great survival smarts. Look how he’s managed to hold office forever, traveling around the world, and living in luxury. What I’ve learned is that you don’t have to make sense….you just have to mutter incomprehensibly at the right times, leaving those who don’t understand you to think you’re much too smart for them – and they will vote for you again!
