“First there was nothing, and then nothing happened to nothing, and then nothing magically exploded for no reason, creating everything, and then a bunch of everything magically rearranged itself for no reason whatsoever into self-replicating bits which then turned into dinosaurs. Atheism…not ridiculous at all.”
God impregnated a young virgin so that she could give birth to himself with the intent that he would sacrifice himself to himself to save humans from him.. Christianity … not ridiculous at all ..
Whether the universe came into being because of design or chance, or even had a ‘beginning’ are huge questions that haven't been proven either way. I can’t understand how a deity blowing breath (life) into a clay figurine is somehow remotely believable to you given your statement: ““First there was nothing, and then nothing happened to nothing, and then nothing magically exploded for no reason, creating everything, and then a bunch of everything magically rearranged itself for no reason whatsoever into self-replicating bits which then turned into dinosaurs.”
How is the story of Adam’s creation worthy of acceptance? At least evolution has proof and makes sense, if you actually know what it is about (hint: it has nothing to do with how life got started, only how it diversified over vast periods of time).

“For those who believe in God, a higher power, or something greater than themselves, no explanation is necessary. For those who don’t… no explanation will suffice.”
Faith is a matter of attitude; it’s not based on material formulas, theorems, or maxims. That’s why *faith* is equal-opportunity: anyone, great or small, can have it.

“Crashed?” No. “TRASHED?” Yes.
And whether that applies to a computer hard drive or a national economy, it makes no difference to this administration.

From the article: “During the segment, Perry also mentioned that him [sic] and Obama ‘philosophically agreed’ on how to secure the border.”
Should be “….HE and Obama ‘philosophically agreed’…”
There also should be a sign hanging at the The Blaze: “Editor wanted”.
Grammar ' rules ' are no longer being taught . Actually 'rules ' are no longer being taught ! Look at the Obama crowd which allows anarchy to rule on our southern border ! Guess these guys were taught Rules For Radicals but not the old, traditional Ten Commandments which must be part of the old America that they are trying so desperately to ' fundamentally transform.' I fear for my country in the hands of these moral degenerates.

Yeah, they’re cute in that prepackaged, formulaic, stage-parents-got-your-back kind of way.

“The Hothouse Flowers” would be fitting.
Let’s see them hit the road in a used van (when they’re old enough to drive) and play gigs in dive bars for a few years to toughen them up and give some real edge and perspective to their music.
They can always tour with Jay's favorite band, Guided By Bull****.

The Nazis teamed up with all sorts of people to carry out their intended mission. To them, ALL people are tools in one form or another.

The swastika is an ancient symbol, also found in China and India. It WAS a symbol of good luck and auspiciousness. Unfortunately it was hijacked by early-20th-century German propaganda masters and consequently ruined.
It just goes to show how little people know about the things they knee-jerk react to.

1) You have a right to be stupid in this country…equally. It’s not the government’s job to pick winners and losers in the stupid department, or rank people in order of stupidity, or favor some types of stupidity over others. (He does make some valid comparisons in this regard…oh, the horror.)
2) Major flaw in his philosophy (requires watching the video): National Socialism (or any “socialism” for that matter) does NOT endorse the “natural order”, as he claims. If anything, socialism must turn the “natural order” upside down simply in order to exist. Reason: socialism conflicts with the general (natural) tendency for people to look after themselves and their families first, and their communities later. Socialism insists that the greater community is paramount, and that individuals and families must surrender their own needs in order to build a stronger state.
Capitalism is more in accordance with “the natural order”, in that it most effectively and efficiently harnesses the innate tendencies of people to look after themselves first, and that it rewards effort most directly. A strong state is the natural consequence of a healthy capitalist system.

Mucho thumbs up, amigo. We’ve really lost perspective and have misplaced priorities.
Change starts at ground level….
