If they rode here on a bunch of bananas, what do you think hitched a ride on Bieber after his wild adventure there last weekend? Shudder!!!!!

“The safety of our students and staff is our number one priority.”
While safety is important, I want my kid’s school’s number one priority to be education. Just saying.

“young child brandishing weapon on Philly streets”… It’s not racist if you’re playing the odds. If the article was “young child brandishing sword in Scandinavia”, I would have guessed white viking with blue eyes.

As soon as I saw the gun being used in a perceived threatening manner, anyone still in front of my car would have been run over. Especially if my wife and kids were in the car with me.
The power to infringe them has also not been granted, but then, I don't think dodgeball or Little Red Riding Hood are under Federal bans, either.
At any rate, this is typical. Liberal state nannies succeed at getting one thing banned, so they should then be able to ban everything.
Not to mention the overreach. LRRH and dodge ball are ridiculously banned in some schools. How does that justify banning guns in the entire country? I'm pretty sure that rifle is already banned in schools, for as much good as that's done.
Then again, Gun Nuts can't read and get their disinformation from the NRA. The legislation is not about banning all guns, yet the Gun Nuts need to store arsenals to supplement their shrinking manhood. They have a gun fetish and don't care if it puts their children at risk.
Now who can argue with that? I think we're all indebt to Encinom for stating what needed to be said. I am particulary glad that these lovely children are here today to hear that speech. Not only was it authentic progressive gibberish, it expressed the cowardice of spewing emotional drivel devoid of context or fact to slander opponents all too present in this day and age.

I was born and raised in Brazil and I’m perplexed that Argentinians call a ferret a “Brazilian rat”… Ferrets aren’t even rodents or that abundant in Brazil for that matter… Heck, I had never seen a ferret until I moved to the US.

I could have been the Sunday Comics for all I care. If they don’t believe in the Constitution, it doesn’t really matter.

Her daughter was satisfied with the care her mother received at the facility. That explains it all to me: A daughter who didn’t care put her elderly mother in a facility that didn’t care until that time when the mother would cease to exist. Everyone is now happy.
Well what about Jesus rising on Sunday? Christians started to worship on Sunday as their new Sabbath. Sure many Christians in Acts still grouped together on the Sabbath, but Jesus said he is greater than the Sabbath, so isn't Jesus rising from the grave a pretty big deal? I worship on Sunday for the sack that Jesus isn't dead!
So it was diverted, ok so where is it going exactly. Or perhaps did they avert the problem? Proof of the education level of a blaze writer I suppose.
@ Racenuke - "Christians started to worship on Sunday as their new Sabbath". God established the Sabbath and sanctified it has HIS day (see 4th commandment). If man changed the Sabbath, then it is man's sabbath, NOT God's. Jesus worshiped on the Sabbath day along with the Jews. Even after Christ died and rose from the grave, Christians still worshiped on the Sabbath. It wasn't until about 300 years later until Constantine, with the help of the Catholics, that the Sabbath was changed to Sunday. But whom do you worship, man or God?
Below, I worship the God of the new covenant, who has set me free. He knows my heart, he knows my thoughts, he inspires me to love him more, and to love my enemies. I'm not bound by any rules except to love the Lord my God with all my heart, mind, strength, and soul, (that is the greatest commandment) and the second is like it, to love my neighbors as myself. You will know the truth and the truth shall set you free. My relationship is not with a God of rules, but with a God of love who knows my heart and loves me all the same. He has given me his righteousness and has made me holy as he is holy. Thank you for your input and for your love of God. That is good.
@Below, the love God by obeying the first 4 commandments and you love your neighbor by obeying the last 6 commandments. To suggest the 10 Commands are done away with is silliness in the extreme, nor are they multiple choice.
David, in Exodus 31:12-17, God is instructing Moses that the "Israelites" were to observe the Sabbath, specifically that it would be a sign of a covenant between God and the "Israelites." Interestingly, it also states to the Israelites that "whoever does anywork on that day must be cut off from his people." and "Whoever does any work on the Sabbath day must be put to death."
Fast forward to the New Teatament wherin there is no repeating of the 4th Commandment for Christ followers, but where Jesus "works" on the Sabbath.
As mentioned in John 9:16 where because of his working on the Sabbath, some Pharisees said "This man is not from God because he does not keep the Sabbath." A very interesting comment (and huge mistake) coming from those who considered themselves the most spiritual and ceremonally clean of the Jews.
Romans 6:14 says "For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace."
Collossians 2:16 says "Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day."
In God's wisdom, he sent the Holy Spirit to earth on the first day of the week. and in Rev. 1:10, John says he was "in the Spirit" on "the Lord's Day," also a Sunday.
I am not an Israelite or a Jew, I am a Christ-follower. That I may chose to worship my Lord on a Sunday is my choice, and I'll not be made to feel bad by those who cannot understand freedom in
All this is covered above.
jesus was not working on the Sabbath. That was the point he was making. he was not saying the Sabbath was gone. Are you kidding? So, jesus turned the 10 Commands into the 9 Commands and atoned for 9. Huh? No jesus was putting the Sabbath in it's proper context because the Pharisees had added thousands of rules to God's 10 C's. You brought up the two Styories of jesus healing and Gleaning Grain to eat on the Sabbath. I posted the actual verses from the Bible. Surely you can see Jesus did not abolish the Commands. Not at all. he was letting them know they had made the Sabbath to rigid... moreover, they should not add to God's Law. Period.
All ten Commandments are found in the N.T. More importantly we find these-
Rev 12: 17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
The verses in Colossians are talking about the (other) sabbaths that were written in the (Book) of the Law and nailed to the cross and are abolished. All this is covered above.
Go back to Constantine in the third century to see when Sabbath observances were changed to Sunday observances, in order to accommodate the pagans.

I have a video on Youtube from a performance by our church choir. The church bought the rights to perform the song. The video is shown to everyone in the world but it is blocked in Germany.

Why? I don’t see gun owners as people scared of their own shadow who take out their gun the second a squirrel rustles the leaves outside their window.

Don’t cheat on a Brazilian woman… He got off easy. Just FYI, what she did is a crime in Brazil as it would be in all civilized nations, but the cheers from the crowd are just a cultural thing. They are not exactly cheering the act, but that she was taking a stand on being cheated on.
The woman with the camera keeps calling her a “crazy lady” while still cheering for her. Crazy because of her actions. Cheering because she knows reaction like that from a woman in Brazil can only come from finding out that she was cheated on.
Ya’ll should see what happens when the two women meet and neither wants to give up the man…. It’s like Godzilla and Mothra x 1000. LOL
