  • Looks like a couple of crazy, white, conservative, Christians to me…

  • All good questions; Aside from the “manifesto” that was posted from his Facebook account,
The only thing we heard from him since this all started was for the man from whom he took the truck; the one that he told: “I don’t want to hurt you. Start walking and take your dog”.
You would think that if he was on a killing spree he would have killed this guy too.

I can’t speak for everyone but If I was accused of killing a cop, and see or hear that they are shooting up any vehicle that even remotely looks likes mine, I’d probably run too. Its pretty obvious they had no intention of taking this guy a live.

The cops chasing him shot more, if not more people than he did trying to “apprehend” him.

  • I don’t think anyone is idolizing him, but the man was entitled to a day in court.
If we condone the police executing whomever they feel needs executed, then we are no better than the animals we are fighting in 3rd world ****-holes on the other side of the globe.

  • “We’re gonna go forward with the plan, with the burn … Like we talked about.” … ” 7 burners deployed and we have a fire” “Burn that ******* house down”
And the Sheriff has the audacity to say this fire wasn’t intentional?

I guess the sheriff has decided Americans don’t need the 5th amendment and due process anymore.

If Dorner was guilty of what they say he is guilty of, I’d have no problem with him being executed.
Unfortunately we will never know because these cops decided to play the part of judge,Jury and executioner.
    Sickening…

  • I’m going to call BS on this story, Why would this guy get out with less than 4 years till retirement? I can guarantee he could of spent the last 4 years teaching at some school state side if he was tired of the deployments.

And if he did get out with a “body filled with scar tissue, arthritis, tendonitis, eye damage, and blown disks” he would have no problem and I mean zero, getting a 60 if not 100% disability rating from the VA.
I know a guy that gets 10% for a one inch scar on his thumb. He claims that because of the scare tissue he doesn’t have full mobility.

And to say he didn’t know about the VA benefits; when you separate from the military they screen you for service connected disabilities BEFORE you get out.

Sorry I’m not buying this story about “The Shooter”

  • Manufactures can only produce so much ammo. If they have an order for a gazillion .40 cal hollow points for .gov, then they set the line up to produce .40 not .22 long rifle.

the 450 Million order mentioned is a 5 year contract which works out to be 90 Million rounds per year, which is 120% of the ammo we expended in Iraq back in 03 which was the year with the heaviest fighting.
So this ONE agency has ordered more ammo per year than our ENTIRE military used during the heaviest year of fighting in Iraq. Add that to the huge orders of the other XYZ government agencies, police departments not to mention out military, its easy to see why they cannot produce anything for the civilian market.

  • I’ve attempted to find out how many people are employed by the DHS; I’ve seen as low as 50,000 and as high as 225,000.

Lets use 225,000 to be conservative. They have already bought 1.6 BILLION rounds, and are set to buy another 450 MILLION. That will give them over 2 BILLION rounds give or take a few million rounds….

So divide 2 Billion by 225,000 and you end up with nearly 9,000 rounds per DHS employee!
That is assuming every single DHS employee is issued a weapon; cooks, clerks, janitors, etc.

OK assuming everyone at the DHS is armed, and has 9,000 rounds to “train with”
lets look at the training they would get.
IF you go to TDIohio, which is an internationally known weapons training school, you could take all 6 levels of their handgun training, all 3 levels of the tactical rifle training, the precision rifle training and have ammo to spare! I can guarantee you, 99% of our military doesn’t even get this much trigger time and advanced training!

I’m not buying the training excuse…

  • exactly! If a CCW holder made the same mistake, they would have been taken to jail .

Yet this trooper isn’t even so much as suspended.

  • Its not just the matter of loosing his gun, its the fact that he sat them on the bleacher behind him, out of his dight and immediate control. Someone at the game could have just as easily picked the weapon up during the game, and walked out with it.
If this man has such poor judgment that he thinks setting a loaded pistol behind him on the bleachers at a high-school basketball game of all places was a good idea then he has no business wearing that uniform.
Add in the fact that he was so absent minded that he went hours (if not longer) without realizing he had lost his weapon, you go from a mistake to negligence.

I guarantee that if a civilian “forgot” their handgun in the changing room at Wally world, the knock at the door wouldn’t be to tell you “they are going do “due diligence” before taking any action…”
It would likely be the SWAT team, kicking the door off the hinges just before they dragged your **** off to jail.

  • “When he sat down, he took his gun and badge out of his pocket and put them on the bleachers behind him. When he left, he forgot to grab them.”

This trooper needs fired, period. No desk patrol, no demotion, fired with no severance pay.

Set aside the fact he was so careless that he left the school, probably went home and off to bed not realizing that he left his loaded weapon in a school; This idiot sat it on the bleacher BEHIND him!
did he really think it was a good idea to set a loaded weapon out of his sight where someone could have grabbed it?
This man has extremely poor judgement to say the very least, and if he had an ounce of dignity in his body he would resign and save the taxpayers in his district another days unearned wage, and the expense of the upcoming investigation.

What do you think would happen to average Joe citizen if they “forgot” their CCW in the bleachers, at a movie theater or in a restaurant?
Do you think they would get “due diligence” before any action was taken against them or do you think they would get stuffed and cuffed?
