  So, your kind creates court actions to force others to conform to your perspective of the world. You make believe that a nativity scene is such an affront to you that it must not be “shoved in your face”. So, you shove it in their face. You cause them to spend money defending their God-given rights. I suppose you think that’s OK since you don’t have any God-given rights.

  As to monies expended in legal battles that could be helping “the poor, widows, orphans”, well, that’s your fault, isn’t it? I don’t suppose you’d want to kick in a little cash for the kids, would you? Didn’t think so.

  Actually, it’s you that’s forgetting or maybe you’re just ignorant of the truth.

  Atheists conform to “a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith” and, as such, you are “religious”. If you try to say that you have no belief system or that ‘being religious’ requires belief in a ‘supreme being’, then it is evident that you are intellectually bankrupt and not just ignorant.

  Further, I would offer that your life feels to you so miserable and empty simply because you will not admit that you are devoid of faith of any kind. This is what we are warned about as a pitfall of the unbelievers. As evidence to this I submit that you reach out to us via the internet in a vain attempt to give some meaning to your life. About this time I would say, “How’s that working out for you” but I think we all know how most things work out for you.

  As further evidence of your shallowness, I offer that your friends, as you refer to them, who think enough of others to extend a simple gesture of kindness in any form, scripture or otherwise, should be able to expect something similar in return.
