JP4 -- too right.
Even as someone who regularly criticizes police abuse and the militarization of our police forces, even I recognize this. When it comes time for cities to make hard choices about budgets, they immediately go after vital services, the police and fire departments. They essentially make terroristic threats against the populace to raise taxes -- using the same tactics as old mob protection rackets.
As a result, we have police departments that are underfunded, under staffed, and police officers that are overworked. None of that is a good combination, and it leads to good men like Officer Gliniewicz being killed.
Those Administrators and Politicians are the root of the problem.....
Politicians don't have priorities straight...they also never get asked questions like, "What are your priorities when it comes to successful government?".
Double or triple the manpower per unit and reallocate units to the more "worthy" communities.
They say f*ck the police? Fine, live without them.

There is a move afoot to make the LEOs real edgy. Once they get the level of angst high enough there will be a rash of shooting caused by “agitators” acting in threatening ways and getting shot in the process. Then the BLM crowd will call for disarming the police or some other such nonsense.
This whole thing has a larger plan to put LEOs in straight jackets to “protect” the public from them.
The insanity of the anarchists is charging ahead full steam.
I haven’t read “Rules for Radicals” … is there a strategy to neutralize the LEOs in it? Just curious
It would certainly play into their hands. Check this out. I don't know how accurate the data is, but right about this time last year there was a slew of police being shot.
Not neutralize....Nationalize...Just like Obama wanted...a Nationalized Police force as large and well funded as the Military...
The Federal gubmint and its agencies are weaponized against the citizens...
better support your local sheriff, last line of defense.

To say it MIGHT be booby trapped is an understatement. If the Germans parked it in a tunnel to save it from confiscation it IS booby trapped. Stories also exist of the Germans dumping chests of treasure into Austrian alpine lakes. Some of these have been found. There was also a salt mine that was converted into a vault that was recovered in the ’50′s.
Who gets the spoils? Lots of countries and individuals have demanded restoration of their property but if it’s gold bars, who do they belong to?

This sentiment is good to see publicly. Too bad Glenn is insecure and feels the need to wear a bullet-proof vest when he is surrounded by his supporters.
I don't think it's insecurity... survival might be a better word. As if some nut job couldn’t blend in for the sake of getting close to Glenn and shoot him. I think he’s smart to wear one.
what d35 said
That is the absolute dumbest remark possible.
Reagan was surrounded by the secret service
Ignorance run in your family?
Glen has been a target for for a long time he is just being careful nothing wrong with that.Sick weirdo's have been known to show up sometimes at these events to harm others.
And, he didn't put his wife in one. The vanity runs thick in Glenn's veins. To think he is so important, such a famous person he needs a vest and snipers on the roof. But doesn't think his wife needs one who's right next to him. You're losing me Glenn.

So when TSHTF and 300 survivalists start hunting in Central Park they might have food resources for 2 or three days. Then all the wildlife will be gone and they will have to look elsewhere for their food. In densely populated areas the best strategy is still to GTFO and find somewhere where there are less people and more resources.
JP4, " In densely populated areas the best strategy is still to GTFO and find somewhere where there are less people and more resources."
You are correct but I wish you would not tell the city dwellers this. It will just mean more people we have to defend against as they come after our stored supplies out here in the country when the SHTF. ; )
After the lowlifes of all races completely ransack and loot all the grocery, liquor, and TV stores, they will leave for for the farms and ranches where they will not be heard from again.

And the real reason that the Deamoncrats aren’t worried about the election….it’s rigged
If proxies don’t count why do terrorists kill? Iran supports the largest network of terror active in the world today and we seem to be willing to give them access to another $150 Billion so they can do more. If Iran weren’t a threat why would the Saudis worry about them?
You mean the most psychotic, benighted, medieval country on the planet. Who funds terrorists and fanatical mosques all over the planet. Where women wear bee-keeper outfits and aren't allowed to drive among other evil restrictions.
Explain to me why I should care what the demented Saudi's think.
And I said proxies don't count because the US uses them constantly. Hello al qaeda vs the Russians in Afghanistan, the KLA vs. Serbs in Kosovo, ect ect.

As a believer and having belonged to a greater family of believers I chose to take a stand for my family. I do what I believe is right. Just can’t run away from everything that upsets me.

As I hope you know, the church you choose to affiliate yourself with is a personal choice. In the last decade the Presbyterians and other churches have had inner turmoil regarding LGBT issues. I as well as many others, am not in agreement with their current policies regarding leadership positions. I have attended several General Assemblies to voice my opinion and support others who feel as I do. We feel it is unfortunate the church has taken its present direction but we believe that in time we will prevail in our opinion. It is a very close split and PC politics put the LGBT view over the top. Too many leaders fear that a non-PC stance will jeopardize the church’s future within the current national political views.
Joy : Yes. He has been well indoctrinated by many Marxists - some of them also angry American black males.

For Presbyterians, not being an active member frequently means you haven’t paid your per-capita for you and your family. It’s like a tax, I don’t pay it either because they already get my freely given tithe, I won’t give them their tax!

I don't know how the question came off, but it was an honest one. I'm not a believer, but if I was I'd certainly leave any church that concerned itself with politics.

Mikeil305, Why should Churches not concern themselves with politics? Please do not give me the "cr**p" about separation either. Politics affect churches and the people that attend them. If you do not think so, just wait, the law suits are coming to "force" churches to do what goes against their teachings.
I know what you mean! I am a recovering Episcopalian - and there is only 1 traditional Anglican church within 10 miles of my home (only a dozen or so members, all over 60). So, I go to my wife's Catholic church. Not perfect, but at least they oppose abortion and homosexuality. Life - like an election - is often about compromise. But internally, we have to keep true to our core. God knows our hearts.
