  Requiring a background check between private citizens is the Liberals incremental way toward confiscation ……………Lets take a look – First, how will they know if I sell my gun to my neighbor or another private individual? Colorado does not have a gun registration requirement nor do they maintain a gun inventory of what private citizens own and they are unable to track our guns. So if you and your neighbor do not go to sportsman’s warehouse and voluntarily run a background check how will the government know you ever had a gun or even sold it to your neighbor……….This is why Liberals went for the background check first – now they have to put in place a tracking / registration system to make it work just like California! Had they went for registration first they would have lost big.

  Romney lost because he did not fight on behalf of the constitution, stand up for conservative principles, show why capitalism is better than Obama’s socialism and articulate these points in the debates. When we put forth a weak moderate we loose republican votes i.e. 3 million this time.

  If any of those guns were stolen from law-abiding citizens and the government paid the criminal for turning it in then the government is fencing stolen weapons with tax payers dollars.

  They are rewarding and encouraging criminals to steal.
