I have to agree with your post more than the story itself. I am a Orthodox Catholic and we don’t modernize for society or the Pope. Last I checked, there were no revisions of the Bible. Some will twist it, slam it, imply meaning all they want….its the same book, the same god and Jesus. I recognize more of a problem with parents of kids now days. They themselves, do not practice at a church or attend but claim to be christian. The kids miss that part of growing up among peers and the word. We are leaving out generations of our kids like the school shooter….where was the morality that a kid could do that?

Look into video games….it would seem thats the only thing that have come along in recent years that might explain this behaviour.

I wish they could address when, a weapon, bought itself, loaded itself, prepared the shooter with armour, loaded pistols, drove the would be shooter to his mothers, make the shooter kill his mother then go to the elementary school and kill so man? It seems to me, logical one, that they should be looking into why the shooter did it. Question two….why is it that the one thing that all these mass killers spent massive amounts of time on video games like Tour of Duty and others? The one in Belgium said he spent 16 hours a day on them refining his skills….News media….can we show some focus on the why the guy and not why the gun? Work with us here…..

I am just trying to figure out how all those guns got up, loaded themselves and went after these children with someone behind them. These must be smart guns. Maybe they possess the one who picks them up. I can see a scenerio where an antigun group would sacrifice one of there own in the name of deal leader. I cannot think of how you could do more damage than to go into a school and kill young children. Its the perfect crime. The same man could have strapped on a bomb or took a large baseball bat….knife and killed as many as well. It would have been easy, no one is armed.

I think it shook my exife and friend, along with myself, up. We lost two Golden Retrievers in the past 18 months…..What was amazing about the after wards, I had stood in the vets office when Belle was dagnosed with cancer. I knew it couldn’t be treated, she had no immune system, she had Myasthenia Gravis and her meds took her immune system away. When I was told, infront of the people in the office there, I dropped to my knees, it just broke me down in so many ways…6 months later, she passed with dignity.
I inqured about a rescue Golden in Raleigh NC. I gave one of my references at the Raleigh Vet School. As the story went, they told the Rescue group if they were to come back as a dog, they would want it to be one of mine. Belle…was the test dog for Myasthenia Gravis that led to the cure. It was a hell at times that on the school knew about. No one told me anything. One day, a van from the Raleigh Vet School showed up in my driveway. I recognized the Vet that worked with me with Belle all those years. Four of the students that worked with her came out of the van with a small golden retreiver on a leash…..this was the second time I dropped to my knees and came apart….only to have a young golden licking my tears away….this is why I have hope for America and my god. I have not completely healed from the event with Belle but I now have Chloe and she has me. She was the rescue golden from the rescue I asked about….Merry Christmas!

Becasue god loved man so much, he made dogs for their friends….friends are hard to say goodbye to…

I also suggest you have them put to sleep in their own home instead of at the vet. It seemed so much more peacefull with dignity. Two Golden Retrievers in the past two years. The hardest was Belle, the female….she fought with Myasthenia Gravis for 8 years. She beat the disease but got cancer since she had no imune system. She was the test dog for Roche Pharma that led to the cure for humans. When she passed, I am not sure who cried more, the vets on the case, the MG patients she met, me or God. Just an angel getting her wings….and a “Belle” ring is heard.

I do not even know any man that could have a dry eye after reading this or watching it. They say there are two times a man is allowed, when his father dies and his dog passes…..

He’ll know when its time. Victor only came to earn his wings. Just like Glen and the Beck family, I went through this…again….7 months ago with the loss of my second Golden Retriever. Glen has learned what we have learned, loyal companions never die as we hold them dear to our hearts the rest of our years. My Maggie Belle and BJ are now playing with a tennis ball with dad and St Peter now. In memory to all of them this Christmas season. We lost our hero soldier and father, Maggie Belle, the test dog for Myasthenia Gravis treatment that led to a cure in humans and BJ, loyal and protector. We miss them all deeply.
Glenn, you will know when its time. It will be his eyes and the look that goes straight through to your heart. Do this in Victors home with a Vet who does home visits. I have no regrets doing this in my home as its there home too, where they feel the warmth and love. I couldn’t do this in a Vets office again.

    To my Brother, Ranger 1965
    Subject: Letter from Nancy Reagan

Nancy Reagan regarding John Hinckley’s pending release: We could all learn so much from this elegant and gracious lady.

You might recall that John Hinckley was the seriously deranged young man who shot President Reagan in the early 1980′s. Hinckley was absolutely obsessed with movie star Jodie Foster, and, in his twisted mind, loved Jodie to the point that to make himself well known to her, he attempted to assassinate President Reagan.

There is speculation Hinckley may soon be released as having been rehabilitated. Consequently, you will appreciate the following letter from Nancy Reagan to John Hinckley:

    To: Mr. John Hinckley
    From: Mrs. Nancy Reagan

My family and I wanted to drop you a short note to tell you how pleased we are with the great strides you are making in your recovery. In our country’s spirit of understanding and forgiveness, we want you to know that we bear no grudge against you for shooting Ronnie.

We are fully aware that mental stress and pain could have driven you to such an act of desperation. We’re confident that you will soon make a complete recovery and return to your family to join the world again as a healthy and productive man.

    Best wishes,
    Nancy Reagan & Family

P.S. While you have been incarcerated, Mr. Hinckley, Barack Obama has been banging Jodie Foster like a screen door in a tornado. You might want to look into this.
