MAJ Nadal Hassan is a terrorist, and I hope he is tried and hung.

He is still an officer in the US Army, and he is an American Citizen. If you think you can just chunk out the Bill of Rights, and kill him, then what other Civil Rights can the gov just chunk out?

    Amendment V

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation

If you can throw out the 5th Amendment, then what about the 2nd Amendment?

He will have his day in court. If you prefer a system where the government leaders can just kill folks who are accused, then perhaps you should move to North Korea or Iran.

the Founding Fathers gave us an outstanding system. Let us use it, and stay within our Bill of Rights.

Good comments. Glad to see a few folks believe in all ten of those amendments, and not just the first two.

  • If a service member was accused of a crime he did not commit, and was awaiting trial, would we garnish that soldier’s wages, even though he might be innocent, or should we allow the legal system to work, and give him his day in court?

In communist countries and dictatorships, you can throw the rule book away, declare the person guilty without a trial, and take anything you want from them. We here in America have civil rights that the founding fathers recognized as coming from God. It is the government’s responsibility to protect those rights. Some Americans would do well to re-read the fifth and sixth amendments.

  • He is an American Citizen and is an officer in the United States Army.

He is innocent until proven guilty. It is how we do things. Be careful of thinking you can throw the rule book away, when it fits your agenda.

I believe this man conducted an act of terror, and should hang. I still believe he gets his day in court, and gets to be represented by an attorney.

Our system is not perfect, but it is the best in the world.

Well stated, I agree with you.

Your comment – “all of you denials won’t save you or you r children, or their children in turn.”

But Al Gore and his progressive scientists who want to tax you and bring in a system of world Marxism are going to save you and your children? Bwaaaa! Haaaaa! Haaaaaa!

I serve the God that created this entire universe. You go ahead and worship Al Gore and crowd all you want. Al Gore will stand before the God of the Bible one day, and see the foolishness of his ways.

  • The Super Outbreak of tornadoes of 3–4 April 1974 remains one of the most outstanding severe convective weather episodes of record in the continental United States. The outbreak far surpassed previous and succeeding events in severity, longevity and extent. There were 18 hours of continuous tornado activity. A total of 315 to 330 people were killed in 171 tornadoes from April 1 through April 4 and 5,484 were injured.

So Global Warming was worse 40 years ago??

This case is not about your thoughts or feelings. It is about the law.
