Anybody ever notice they are on Mercury Records (no affiliation)? Ironic that some folks here want to make this political. I guess Bob Dylan was dynamic in his day. But who could understand his lousy voice? And who was stupid enough to go see him perform horribly on stage. Talk about a ripoff.

Really? The non sense was delivered by bands that wanted you to Shake Your Booty, go to the Love Shack and moan about suicide as they sucked on the end of a shot gun. That smells like teen spirit. Or reads like non-sense from the non-sensical.

If anyone doubts this band’s values, I ask you to read the lyrics for Caress Of Steel. An album banned (shortly) in Canada and other countries, for the band’s view on abortion and it’s immorality. Get it Caress of Steel? The next album blew up for their stance against the industry that tried to destroy them and other musicians who wouldn’t fall in line.
You terds who want to use the band as a liberal talking point have NO CLUE what they were/are saying. They didn’t change, everyone else did. Far from progressive and far from liberal.

I rarely blog anymore as I wish to not be drawn in to this den of hate. But rather pity those who cannot, for one SECOND have an ounce of dignity.
This is a time to reflect, forgive and ask for forgiveness. I cannot judge. I cannot. I am not God. Nor are any of you. When will the vitriol end? Please have mercy for just a moment.
The music world was opened to a lot of people who needed a release. Some use it, some abuse it, but all are moved by it. Hopefully she helped others who struggle from the demons they attempt to flee.
Jimi, Janice, Harry, Croce, Morrison, and so many others like Whitney, I hope had a chance to reconcile with their God. Not all my favorite people, but they are after all, God’s children. So they are my brothers and sisters.
All of this from a former addict (always an addict), long haired hippy republican musician tea party conservative, who’s God is the final judge.
